Just breaking...
/.02
Would you let your son spend that much time with a 42 year old who has been accused, and has had to pay millions out to, another boy said that he was molested? Everyone knows he is a child molester, and she has tried to extort money from others in the past, sometimes using her children. Yes I believe that she allowed her son to get close to Michael Jackson in the hopes that he would do something to her son that would get her paid.
I agree...but after getting two bites at the same apple...it's highly unlikely that a Grand Jury will give him a third try no matter what.
It was pulled.
And they only won that one because Scott Peteson didn't have any hit singles or Heisman trophies.
Oh, that IS the way things are going. No doubt.
There's a new book out that's going to rock some people's world.
The OJ jury was not an all-black jury.
I'm picking Indonesia.
Red
Case cost $4 million.
It wasn't funny.
"And they only won that one because Scott Peteson didn't have any hit singles or Heisman trophies."
And the Prosecotors STILL nearly blew it.
Yep, and it worked in Michael's favor.
Tom Mesereau is a genius.
I would read it, but I'm afraid it would make me sick. I have 3 little boys.
What about them? Is there a law now that you can't have plastic surgery whether white or black? Is there a law that says you can't have a prosthetic nose, prosthetic leg, hand, arm?
Entertainment TV..ok what's next. I can't wait. (sarcasm)..well tis a break from a war for a few moments each day.
Now back to Aruba!
MEMO:
(Media meetings urgent: OK Jackson story is old. Aruba will be over soon. Go dig up anything you can find to freak out the American public. Make something up if you have to! Anything about blond missing women a plus. Get on it staff!)
This prosecutor did a reasonably decent job. But trying, in California, to win a conviction against a flaming fruitcake like Jackson and his $50 million defense is like trying to drop a six inch putt in the teeth of a 200 mph hurricane.
It's looks easy, but it ain't.
I'm a former prosecutor. Although I suffered only one outright acquittal in all my years as a prosecutor, I know full well how difficult the job is. I am not quick to find fault with most of them.
Well, he's retiring soon anyway. But if another victim walks in the door, it is the DA's job to investigate it and if appropriate, prosecute it.
