Bizarro Matthews so far this morning.
The first 15min segment is all about how stupid and incompetitent dean is.
2nd segment starts off with pointing out sKerry 'got worse grades than Bush'.... sounds like a HILLARY day ;)
Good point but then the media only show the bits that puts them in the best light unless it is against one of their own that they do no like or is pro right wing.
What the President says - every day - and what the media reports are not the same thing. Unless it can be spun as negative, the media have placed a virtual blackout on the words of President Bush -- starting with calling him Mister Bush, instead of President Bush.
Do you check on the Day in the Life thread on FR?
This is from 6/11/05: --

PRESIDENTIAL SCHEDULE: Although no schedule update was provided in the White House press briefing yesterday, the President, himself, talked about his schedule in his radio address today.
On Tuesday, I will discuss Social Security reform with young people in Pennsylvania.
On Wednesday, I will address the Energy Efficiency Forum here in Washington, and renew my call for Congress to act on the energy plan I proposed four years ago. Today's high energy prices are like a tax that drags on our economy. We must ensure that American families and small businesses have access to a reliable supply of affordable energy. My energy strategy will lessen our dependence on foreign oil by encouraging conservation, promoting domestic production in environmentally friendly ways, and funding promising new sources of energy such as hydrogen, ethanol, and biodiesel. It will also modernize our aging electricity grid. The House has passed a good energy bill; now the American people expect the Senate to act. For the sake of our economic and national security, Congress needs to get a good energy bill to my desk by August.
On Thursday and Friday, I will discuss a key element of ensuring health care security for our nation's seniors.
Shouldn't you have added ,..... as portrayed by the News Nedia?
Hello thanks for being the "judge" this week - do you actually live at the beach?
Well put Mol
Thanks for your supports of our President snugs. Any plans to move to US?
IMHO, the only ones that complain about the way PRESIDENT Bush speaks are the high and mighty, holier than thou types, the likes of sKerry. That thing can carry on for an hour and not say one dam* thing of any consequence. OTH, "W" talks for 5 minutes and speaks volumes.
No problem. Feel free to ANYthing that denigrates Mathews. Can you tell that I DO NOT like this silly man?
I say at the Beach cause I came here from the center of the USA, the Wheat fields of Kansas, I am actually within a couple of miles of the beach.
Go back to DU.
Spoken like a true sociopath.
Guess they will have to instritute a draft [sarc]

Warning, those things can be addictive. :)
Warning -and they have no nutritional value. Pure sin -a moment on the lips and a lifetime on the hips. My mantra for these foods! LOL
Chris and Rita Cosby would be better fits covering Hollywood and movie reviews imo.
He says the same thing everyday. He never changes his tune. He looks them in the eye and says what they're not used to hearing.
Like "That's my job as president, to provide leadership. Social security is a problem. I could coast it out but then I wouldn't be doing my job."
Or "The greatest protection for this country is to promote democracy across the planet. I've said it before; I'll say it again."
Of course I paraphrase.
When I hear Bush speak I wonder what it is about what he is saying that so bothers people.
He hasn't changed his tune. He plainly states his agenda.
Would they rather the president lie? Or change stories with the political wind?
