How did Salazer manage to sucker so many voters in Colorado?

(Shakes head in consternation.)

That's the point you are dodging.

I'm dodging nothing. Your insinuation is patently absurd.

It will be even better when we hear of William Pryor's confirmation!

:)

The RINOs don't have to allow a vote on judicial nominees that fall under the "extreme circumstances" category that they failed to define. Don't fool yourself. You know full well what that means.

Oy vey!

Tell me. Do you deny that they have positioned themselves to block the votes for a pro-lifer to the whole senate for an up or down vote.

They simply let a few through to give the appearance of cooperation.

The judges that were just passed have very little bearing on the Roe vs. Wade decision, so they could be passed without much concern.

John McCain did much damage to the pro-life movement, and must not be president.

They being these 7 Pubbies? Yes, I deny it. Their position is no different now than before the deal.

True enough!

On a side note, I hope I don't sound totally ignorant, but someday, I hope you'll tell me the story behind your screen name. Is it from a Broadway musical?

*debates whether or not to click on the "post" button* :)

Awww, what the heck....

They being these 7 Pubbies? Yes, I deny it. Their position is no different now than before the deal.

Still, those seven did continue to condone the current senate rule that did not come to be until approximately 200 years after the ratification of the US Constitution.

It's not just about those seven. Where was Frist? He continued to push back the votes one week at a time per the expectations mentioned along the way in the media.

He did this simply to have a tool to use against McCain in the 2008 presidential primaries. I'm sure you agree with that. He should pay for that on election day.

Where was the chairman of the GOP? He can get an interview on national TV almost any day during political scenarios like this.

Where was the party when it came to stirring up the base to place pressure on the seven.

The party used the evangelicals to keep their majority in the congress, and then they stabbed us in the back for their own political ambitions. I won't stand for it.

NOTE: I'll be away from my desk for a few hours and leave for home early today. I may not get to respond back to you. I've enjoyed our conversation. God bless you.

For what my two cents are worth:

I was fortunate to have Justice Brown as my professor of State Constituional Law at the McGeorge School of Law. On a personal level, she impressed me as being a calm and even-handed jurist. The kind of person that you would want on the bench if YOU were the one on trial. We will all benefit with her on the Federal bench.

Charles Schumer should have been rejected before, when he was running for the NY State Assembly, when he was running for a congressional seat in Midwood, Brooklyn, and when he was running for a United States Senate seat.

Unfortunately, he lives in New York.

Our electorate gets worse by the day.

:(
