Theoretically, if all the senators were standing around in the chamber, they would be voting alphabeticallyThis would also give the gutless wonders in the bunch a chance to see which way the wind is blowing, or sell their votes....
To: All
I figured Byrd would vote Aye. Someone I trust in media (I can't remember whom right now) said Byrd was embarassed by the filibusters.
Landrieu voted no.

Did Georgy girl cry when he voted?
To: RepublicanMensan
Byrd is not the most liberal senator out there.
However, I wonder if he voted aye so he could ask for a reconsideration of the vote. But maybe he just wanted to vote yes.
To: Recovering_Democrat
Did you see the wicked witch sneak up there and give her vote then try to sneak around to the seats. Where's Crusty1, out at the cleaners?
To: southernnorthcarolina
Sheets also voted AYE (big surprise), however Nelson didn't surprise me - he is probably the most conservative Democrat in the Senate.
To: Recovering_Democrat
Indeed. There are more sixes on scalps in that senate than hell.
