Bayliffs being sworn in, alternatives have been sent home!
This circus is about to be in the hands of the jury!
Bets? Predictions?
I believe all but two are parents so go figure!
Well its not illegal.
You don't have to apologize for agreeing with me. :)
I thought MJ was a child molestor before this case came up, but the trial was about the specific charges in the case not about whether he ever molested anyone.
Some people can't keep that straight. This was an absurd case to bring to trial, the prosecutors had nothing. I'm not the least bit surprised by the result, I predicted it.
I just sent a note to drudge, telling him that I will no longer read another word of his.
Any honest, thinking person can see that mj was guilty of--at the very least--the giving alcohol to minors.
This is another black eye for Lady Justice.
This is another OJ verdict.
I actually had visions of MJ in an orange jumpsuit today.....just damn!
If that's the case, then the jury did their job. Every citizen needs to be thinking about a jury who actually goes over point by point and forces the prosecution to prove guilt and not the defendant proving innocence. I'll take one of those any day of the week. That reasonable doubt standard is high for a reason - it protects the innocent.
There's "weak" and "awful". She was awful.
Regards, Ivan
Man, we disagreed occasionally, but I always respected you.
Then you go and "amen" that "N" bomb post.
I see you're the only one. Others were sickened, but not you.
I'm thoroughly disgusted.
In a squeeky, innocent voice, "...but it's the most loving thing you can do...to share your bed with someone."

He's a monster.
Exactly..I have read more than I cared to ever know about pedophiles and the seduction..He knows how to pick them..
Well, I wonder what will happen to Sneddon now. He'll probably throw himself off a bridge. Sad.
No she wasn't. She was agreeing with the "N" bomb post.
Sorry, my statement refers to the celebrity factor, not the richness-of-the-client factor. Lots of people with lots of money and "good" defense lawyers get convicted. Granted, it's harder, but it's mostly accomplished. Generally, most of the time -- leaving out anomalies like black celebrities in California -- a defense attorney is going to lose.
As I recall, you were talking about Peterson. You seriously think it was his attorney's fault? If so, stay tuned for Scotty's standard-defendant's post-conviction motion alleging ineffective assistance of trial counsel. Care to bet whether he succeeds?
It is the media that is out of control.
The media has turned our justice system into a real life Jerry Springer Show.
Bodyguard pointing out a kid to Jacko:
The fans were right:
The umbrella guy has job security
You're right, but I bet he's there to celebrate with the Jacksons. Free of charge. He's a camera whore, and he'll love the press. He should ask Michael where he got his nose fixed. LOL
I can't get past or comprehend
the mj camp moving the family's
possessions out of the apt. w/
out their permission/knowledge.
Also, taking their passports,
giving them to Geragos and
making arrangements to send
mom and the kids to Brazil.
This was not explained by the
defense. That said, if I had
been on the jury, to me, this
is part & parcel of a conspiracy.
I did not "amen" anything. I agree with his post.
And frankly I don't care what you or anybody else thinks about what I posted; I'm pretty disgusted with the pedophile defenders here myself.
I agree. It's amazing that people can't seem to keep their personal view of MJ distinct from the evidence in this case. The prosecution's case was SPECTACULARLY weak from the start. As I have said I doubt a case this weak would even be brought against an individual who was not a celebrity.
