That reminds me of an old joke. If you're asked if you would make a good juror, you can say: "Of course! I can spot a guilty person (snap) just like that."

Actually it was Geragos plan to keep the family imprisoned. He kept their passports, had them followed, and generally intimidated them.

Geragos ought to find himself in a jail cell himself.

Because he WILL do it again.

This is what is going through my head. If he is acquitted of the molestation charge, he WILL find a child SOMEWHERE in the world, possibly including his own children (one of whom is nearly the right age for Jacko), to emotionally trick and molest. He needs to be stopped.

Whichever way the verdict goes, Michael Jackson will have lost face.

ROFL, truer words...

In ypu opinion, what would be the effect on the jury if, over the weekend, MJ tried to kill himself via an overdose and was hospitalized..There is NO way in hell the jury wouldn't NOT know about it over the weekend. great way to "tamper" with the jury..try for a sympathy aquittal.. I thinks it's 4:1 he does it..

I have to go pick up my grandkids and take them to dinner. I will check in later to see if anything's going on.

a quick verdict, because the jury is tired of hearing about the sordid details and wants to go home and take long showers

Had I brrn on the jury, I'd definitely want to vote and run for the shower ASAP. How slimey they must feel.

He is a freak and he is guilty. Enough, already. He needs to be in a mental hospital at the very least.

The decision today will only come if it's a slam dunk trial. And this certainly is not a lop-sided case, with testimony strongly favoring either side. But my instincts tell me he is guilty of child molestation. By the way I was on a jury where it only took 35 minutes to convict the perp.

Now, I don't understand how the "prior acts" clause can be constitutional given that the alleged prior acts did not result in any charges. Almost sounds like hearsay. It is part of CA law, but, not permissable in other states.

Actually the "prior acts" conforms to the Federal version of "prior bad acts". Additionally, the CA version has already been before the State Supreme Court and its validity upheld.

"Remember, the judge told the jurors they can consider the prior accusations. The boy who is the youth pastor was very credible on the stand.
Who cares whether the mother is whacked ?"

They shouldn't care, and I agree about the youth pastor, but juries seem not to want to put celebrities in jail for some reason.

I was on a jury two years ago, and after two days of testimony two ladies sat in the jury room and announced that only God could judge, so they didn't think they should. As the jury forewoman, I about flipped. Luckily, I remembered that they had sworn to come to a verdict, and that was what saved us from being a hung jury.

He's going to be so sad if he's convicted. No wigs or make-up in jail....Oh- and who's going to hold the umbrella ? LOL!!

Rebee? I thought they were Jehovah's Witnesses, except for the Muslim brother.
I guess innocent until proven guilty has some sort of equation based upon personal popularity in direct proportion to what one BELIEVES is the lifestyle of an individual. But then again, he wouldn't have been indicted if he weren't guilty and the charges are quite serious so they MUST be true!
