ave (sic) read and reread my posted reply and nowhere did I claim your reply had squat to do with religion.don't get your panties in a bunch crunch.so (sic) is buying one of these machines that hook one up to the internet. Why the infidels and athiests will be as described in Scripture-ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the Truth.
Your above response is so incoherently bible-thumping that I basically still don't have a clue as to WTF you were saying, except that it has something to do with infidels, atheists, Scripture and Truth.

So you do lead Christian employees differently.
Only as I mentioned in my other post. Only in terms of personalizing my approach to EACH employee.
That's not a recipe for success in an organization.
In the way that you're worried about, you're exactly right. I'm agreeing with you that it shouldn't be that way; I'm just saying that there is a different way.
I was in a unit that had a Mormon clique.
It tore the unit apart....
Sorry to hear that. Of course, I wouldn't limit that sort of behavior to Mormons. Observe conservatives on liberal college faculties, and see what happens...

And in like manner, he requires and expects of all offers and soldiers not engaged in actual duty, a punctual attendance of Divine services, to implore the blessing of Heaven upon the means used for our safety and defense." General Order issued by George Washington the day after he took command of the Continental Army. It doesn't specifically say 'Baptist' or 'Lutheran' or 'Catholic' or 'C of E' or even 'Christian' does it?
It doesn't say 'blessing of Allah' or 'Jesus', does it?
Even then they understood what 'freedom of worship' means....

At last, reason!
" . . . there forms a perception" is the problem! Whose perception, and is it correctly formed? Plainly, no, repeat NO, "rewards," "consideration," whatever, should be attached to any religion or its practice, period. But the perception? Perception be damned. We're right back in mire of PC.

Paganism?
Where did I say anything about paganism?
My reply was in reference to the post about Tocqueville's writings about American Hellfire and Brimstone!
That Hellfire and Brimstone was the direct result of an act of nature...The Leonids.

It sounds more like one expressing his views, which happen to be protected by the first amendment.
Not on the official e-mail network it ain't....
What about Chaplains in the service? Can they send religious emails on the official e-mail network and not violate your interpretation of the first amendment? For example: A list of services (where Jesus is worshiped)?

let me get this straight, if a Christian talks about his faith it's against the law, but a muslim can say or do anything he wants, and its constitutionally protected? That is the liberal secular view of the matter, so vigorously pursued on this thread ...

Don't have a clue what the WTF your panties are in such a bunch about other than the fact that you apparantly are like Mugsie suffering from the romans 1:21 syndrom. In Basic
training Ft.Campbell KY June 1969 we were trained to recognize the General Orders and expectaitons of General George Washington. And we were marched to Chapel every Sunday- unless we preferred being PLO. Clearly Washington
had done something to invoke the Blessings of Heaven for he
took on a world power and Won if it were good 'nuff for the Patriots and Christian Soldiers who secured our dearest Rights and Liberties then it ought be so even today. One still has Free will -One can go to Hell or be PLO
if they choose to reject God.

But as soon as there forms a perception that the professing Christians are being rewarded, it's all over....
Where that perception is fairly rooted, I agree. In those cases, I would again point the manager to Proverbs 3:27: "Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act."

Given the obvious FACT that American military leaders have almost universally been both very religious AND very diverse in their faiths it is apparent to all but the willfully blind that such divisions and diversions have played no significant role in our history.
Maybe you have another country in mind.

For example: A list of services (where Jesus is worshiped)? Yeah, but it has to be a list of all services--that is official and informational, not religious. How are your Jewish troops gonna feel if you only list the Christian services?
The AF is having trouble with this right now....

Amazing. We get junk mail all the time and we just toss it. If this person sent this out why not just toss it if it is not important to you or meaningful to you? No big deal to me.

It amazes me how much people write about about a subject they know little about. Yes he quoted Christian beliefs, he also quoted a Muslim, Buddha, Jews, pagans and probably a number of atheists in a 22 page compilation of quotes that he found beneficial to him over his four years at the Academy. Are we so intellectually bankrupt that we have to eliminate Christian sayings? The MSM was duped on this one.

These little tidbits blown up into a "sex scandal" is the result of too LITTLE Christianity not too MUCH. The latter is the LEAST of the Academy and military's problems.
Only a hysterically anti-religious RATmedia would even be talking about this non-problem.

"These little tidbits blown up into a "sex scandal" is the result of too LITTLE Christianity not too MUCH."
Wrong. Several of the evildoers (male AND female) were supposedly "good Christians."
