Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
With great sadness I tell you that my Norman has passed away.
The last time I requested prayer, I was sad because he didn't seem to know I was there with him.
The Lord is good. The next day we got to spend about an hour of lucid time together. It was wonderful!
We talked about our love, our family, and the peace he felt about going "home." We shared memories and I got to thank him for sharing his life with me.
We even joked together! I told him, "You promised me a dance and it looks like I'll have to wait until I get to heaven to have it. But if I get up there and catch you dancing with another woman, you'll be in big trouble, Mister!" He loved that! LOL
Then he went back to sleep. His last words to me were "home" and "I love you." I can't tell you how much I cherish them. They have helped sustain me thru this terrible week.
He passed away peacefully, with our family holding hands praying for him.
I need you to keep me in your prayers as I try to survive the weeks ahead. We're financially devastated and I don't earn enough to carry the daily bills much less the medical bills that are falling like snow. I get wobbly and nauseous when I even have to talk about it.
His lovingkindness and grace are keeping me. I praise Him for His love and strength.
I am so grateful for your love and prayers. They mean more than I can say.
May He bless you immeasureably for your gift of love toward me. Once again, I am indebted to the Body of Christ for their support and strength.
Heartfelt love,
Barb
I'll ditto what grellis said above.
I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your husband, prayers for you and for the repose of his soul.
That sharing is truly a 'gift' and one that will keep on giving; but I am so sorry EW, for your loss; your pain and that of all your family.
That's what a loving marriage is all about.
I am so glad you had some special moments together before he passed away.
Remembering you, your husband and family in my prayers during this sad time....
God be with all of you.
My heartfelt condolences. You and Norman are in my prayers.
Dear Barb, I would like to send you a little something to add to your help. Please freep mail me your address if you would like. God Bless you and keep you in Jesus Holy Name.
My love and prayers out to you.
Why has Eternal Warming been suspended?
I would like to know that too.
May the Lord give you comfort during your time of grief.
Many prayers, and my hearfelt condolences. Your last moments with Norman were beautiful and I know you will always treasure them.
Corpus Domini nostri Jesu Christi custodiat animam illum in vitam aeternum.
As would I.
You are added to my prayers.
I have felt the loss of closeness and it is not soon forgotten. I pray for you to have strength and faith.
