Oh, this would be perfect if only to force DeWine to spend lots and lots of money and have to answer question after question after question.
But I'm convinced Kaisich would win.

I noticed that the younger DeWine is trying to distance himself from the elder's Rino-capitulation.

Announce and my check is sent.
IMO, wouldn't hurt if activists in nearby states volunteered to work his campaign either if he does announce. Something like what was during for the Presidential campaign when people came from across the country to work the ground.
DeWine needs to be taken out.

Sean was speaking with Ohio talk show host
Bill Cunningham who said that John Kasich was sending out trial ballons, measuring interest in a run against Dewine.
Also, can we get a statewide ping Tony.

Why did Kasich decide to leave congress in the first place, if anyone happens to know?

So in 2006 we can have:
Dewine vs. John Kasich (OH)
Chafee vs. Stephen Laffey (RI)
And in 2008
Graham vs. Thomas Ravanel (SC)
I love a good RINO hunt

This is a great idea. Kasich is my former congressman, a true conservative and a great guy. If Kasich runs he gets my support and a campaign donation from me.

I live in his former district (12) and I'm on board.

Besides being a former congressman Kasich is known as a fill-in host of Fox News Channel. He also has his own weekend show, Heartland.

I always liked him. He can talk "modertely" - cool, reserved, even tempered, thoughtful - and still get a conservative point of view across. Besides, if he is really going to oppose DeWine, for which there is good reason, then that also aids those reasons - oppostion to DeWine's positions - in general.
Now, who is moving to Arizona to start a McCain=Pain website/PAC/activate-Arizona-grass-roots movement? He should definitely be denied victory in his own state's primary if he runs in 2008. Kill him off before he has a chance to accept an offer from Hillary.

I saw Kasich in an airport once with his second wife. She's one piece of work and he made it complete.

Kasich is sort of milquetoast....better than DeWine but he's gone Hollywood at FOX like Joe did at MSNBC.
and I hear he's a real boor on the town....that is legendary.
