For the freedom you enjoyed yesterday...
Thank the Veterans who served in The United States Armed Forces.
Canteen Backyard Cookout!!
Okay, who's cooking??
|
|
Tomkow? Old Sarge? Tonkin? HiJinx? Auntie Fawnn? Ma??????
Long weekends sometimes are family backyard cookouts. While this weekend is Memorial Weekend, which we in the Canteen take seriously, a little kickoff fun is planned. We thank our Troops for their service to our nation.
We have some beer!
Some eats!
Some fishing....
Some lounging around...
You a Redneck?? You might be a Redneck if your pickup looks like this!
Some more beer!
Somemore lounging around...
Tomkow has to show off at every Canteen party! Soooo, what's your idea of a Backyard Cook Out?

I love this. There is a gentleman who works in the a local store here. I see him take a break at his car. His car has flags all over it. Signs for the Troops and
America. He's a hoot. It makes me smile every time I see that car of his.

usually it's packed with vacationers for this weekend. It's not as busy today as it should be.That's a thought! Check local online cameras.

One good thing about our weather is it's given Ma something to feel good about!

Thankyou for your post Meek. I saw and posted to SmartA and many others here who posted beautiful tributes for Steven.
I also just found a site with pictures of our lost heros from a link that anonymoussierra posted. It is a good link to save.

LOL!! I can imagine someone being so stupid. Hanging on shouldn't be so hard, but the getting away from an angry moose could be interesting. On my way home.

"What good is that? Just allows for more cooling."
It is not good. Every where that I drive people seem to be doing "Crazy Ivans" and other such nutty maneuvers. Plain and simply bad drivers frighten me.

Okay, Ma see you in a bit.

LOL! I can't believe the snow you got. We had a lot too but not like you all did. I remember seeing a picture of Boston after one of those snows and it looked like the frozen tundra. Unbelievable.
