Good morning all. Senate convenes at 9:30 am this morning, to vote on the nomination of Priscilla Owen. I've started the thread early, as I have to leave for a few hours, but also to give us a place to start commenting early on the events of yesterday....

Which is a shame, because your disgust really should be aimed at the cause of the problem - the Dems.
And people wonder why the Democrats try all this hypocritical, juvenile nonsense. Because they know that eventually conservatives will start blaming Republicans for the problem.

I disagree. What is Emily's List and NARAL going to do? Pull her 527 funding? Without Hillary these organizations are dead. She can do whatever she wants. So voting for it with a wink and a nod to the lefties is good for business. She comes off as a moderate, which is the only way she has a shot.
I must admit I am enjoying this a little to much! Frist is like a cat playing with a mouse!

Reid is getting antsy because he is afraid that after Owen and Bolton, Frist might spring a surprise on him.
