He's trying to control the order of business. Frist won't let him. All that is known is Owen, then debate Bolton, then vote on Bolton.

Reid is worried about the timing of Myers becoming the order of business. Myers will be a test of the Weasel-MOU.

Right now I am continuing to "trust and verify" what Graham has been saying. He believes that of the 8, seven will be confirmed. He's been in on the talks. Right now, he has not lost me completely (the same is not true of McCain) --- If he turns out to have been blowing smoke on this, it won't be the DUers who did the suicide thing - AFPhys may slink away for months and change screen name to AFPsycho...

I listed to Graham yesterday on Hannity's radio show. He was forthright and fairly convincing. I do think there's a deal to kill Saad's nomination - not through filibuster but through an up or down vote. But I have some hope for Myers.

Sorry for this pre-gloat on my part, that really ought to be done a few weeks from now after these nominees are actually confirmed, but I just can't help my sweet anticipation.

I've been waiting for this type of Senate action for years, and Frist, in conjunction with the fourteen who are increasingly looking like his unwitting tool, has taken control. Anyone who doesn't think he is really feeling his oats now isn't paying attention.
