But he claims he wants to move on. Sure sign of a Loser, talking about what you don't want to talk about! BTW, how's your hand today? better, I hope!
To: defconw
The deal is, Owen gets an up or down vote, so the showdown is put off for the time being, right?

Frist can simply refuse to move on to any other business until votes on ALL of the nominees are taken. If that means the Senate is in session continuously until the Government runs out of money on October 1, so be it.
I am starting to think that Frist is giving them enough rope to hang themselves!

I agree with your concept, you are just using the wrong word. It should be spankee. Well, I am mocking the people that say FRIST is delinquint.
"Funny how so many folks thinkthe spanker controls the timing of the spanking."
I suppose I could drop a "mistakenly" in there. But it is wrong to hold FRIST to the timing, and I have said so since April.

I think he's a Loser as well! Thanks, my hand is swollen but I don't think it's broken after all! No bruising!

Possible .. but I get the feeling something is up Maybe the Dems will all leave, ignore the quorum call and hide in France as a protest. Kind of like the Texas rats running to Oklahoma.

I don't think concedeing Owen's confirmation is a surprise......
that was part of the RINO deal.......an up or down vote.
We've always said if she got a vote, she would be confirmed.

Reid just reinterated that filibusters will take place--
I hope Frist comes on now and reinterates that the nuke option is not only still on the table, but it might be served REAL soon!

If they want to continue to play games over Owen, they will indeed hang themselves. They themselves will force the nukular option and the deal will be off. Let it be. But I suspect this is posing and posturing like a monkey who has lost face so it shows its @ss.

I am still over the top angry about the bushwhacking' move by Mr. McCain and friends. McCain is no better than a horse thief.
I see McCain as a bad kid. He ENJOYS the role. I don't think he gives a #*$% about right or wrong as long as the spot light is on him.
As I calm down, I see that the sellouts have served to identify themselves as targets for ouster. Bill Frist has been particularly injured as leader in this, not because he necessarily deserves it, but because McCain and Co., want to move the spot light on to themselves. The needs of the country and People be damned.
If you think we are ANGRY, just imagine how Lott, McConnell, Frist, Allen feel. They have been sidelined by an @#$ *&Le. Dick Cheney can't be a happy man either, and I sure wouldn't want him mad at me.
Go get 'em Mr. VP. Go get 'em.
