FReepers be prepared for surprises today.

However, at the time He also had a somewhat principled opposition, and thats the Point.
They still had enough principle remaining to not filibuster.
Yes it will work (as usual), and the evil Republicans will be blamed again ... as usual.
Thank god for Texas.
but then I have to look at peeeed in his pants Chrissy...
Exactly what you said---HOw would Graham know how other Republicans are going to vote on the nominees, unless they all discussed who was going to vote for who?
I think there was a deal that hasn't been written on paper, that has these 3 nominees NOT getting enough votes..!
Don't ask me today. It'll be 103 by noon in the middle of May
"Secret negotiations"...hmm he sounds po'd about it.
Then Frist should MAKE them all vote. I'm just disgusted.
He is keeping eye on things going on in the Senate, and he see's the tide is turning, and heard what Frist and Sessions said that the Constitution option is not off the table, and Tony said that is is getting good now.... as in,, this thing is getting more interesting by the moment.
If this is the "seminar" in the Town of greece, he mentioned the judges waiting around and around...for years and that the Senate has made progress...but he didn't know about this proceedings this am.
I think that the truth is, neither Saad nor Myers was going to win confirmation, even with a vote. It is very possible that this deal simply allowed three who have majority support (Owens, Brown, Pryor) to advance and be confirmed (and don't listen to anyone who says that no Dems will vote for them...several will) and those who weren't going to be confirmed anyway to be stalled.
I could be wrong. Frist could be angry enough to actually force a showdown over Myers or Saad. But the bottom line is, this whole deal isn't working out exactly like the gang of 14 thought it would.
Cornyn going on record that he is not a party to this deal also
I find it HIGHLY interesting that you signed up today to say all that.
Major Garrett: We'll see a vote on Priscilla Owen in about an hour.
Everybody cut away from the Pres at the moment. FoxNews has committed to going back to him if he starts talking about the judges, and MSNBC has access to the feed (no committment to go back though).
Hi again Kerretarded.
You caught that too. Perfect.
Cornyn sounds like he's up to soemthing! Did you notice they slid the ua's for committees in before the Dems could object?
Because they don't understand what is going on.
Good catch.
LOL. I was thinking more along the terms of the "Medieval On Their A$$" option from "Pulp Fiction."
