Frist didn't sign off on it. There are only 14 signatures on that POS agreement. Unfortunately, those 14 can prevent the majority of both parties from accomplishing anything.

Ther is a theorem in cybernetics that the control system of a system must be at least as complex as the system controlled. The system looks more and more like it is broken and needs repairing.

"the RATs can obstruct all they want by claiming "extraordinary" circumstances."Agreed. I don't understand why people can't see right through this. Every single nomination will be labeled extraordinary.

I really hope that FR understands this was about McCain getting back at Bush and McCain getting an edge up on Frist.
For that reason, in public and on this board we need to give strong credit to Frist and we need to try to defeat McCain.

Funny you should say that. Here's a photo of the 7 Dorks taken in the Senate Cloakroom during Frist's "Nuclear Option is not dead" remarks this a.m.

The republicans better put forth a good hard core conservative to run against him!! It will never, ever happen. McCain's in as long as little tiny Democrat heart desires.

This is a devastating number for the rats base to swallow. This high a number for cloture will be seen as an abandonment of the far left of the rat party. The DU'ers type rat have lost big time. Nope, again ... Dirty Harry agreed to give Owens a pass for an up or down vote .. 81-19 has nothing to do with the reality of the final margin .. that's why Cheney is waiting in the wings .. to break a 50-50 tie if it happens.
Go back to sleep now

Kentucky, PA or WVA? I grew up in Ohio! West Virginia, right on the border of KY, OH. I started out in WV, then moved across the river to OH, then grew up and moved back to WV.
Where did you grow up?

for what it's worth, L. Graham on the Senate floor said he was a "yes" vote for the Constitutional option and if things change he could vote that way.

I would like to know both legislatively and legally, if the agreement of these 14 parties really applies to the Republicans as a whole. Doesn't it need the Majority Leader behind it...it didn't sound like he was behind it.If it does, how so. Could someone send me rules on this. Thanks
The agreement is totally vague.

DeWine's son is running for Rob Portman's open seat in my district. It wouldn't be fair though to target the man just because his father turned his coat. On the other hand, the 'Rats and the turncoats aren't following the Constitutional Advise and Consent Clause, so we can work Corruption of Blood politically.
Defeat Pat DeWine for Congress!!

Isn't Voich(however you spell his name?) from OH? If he's too busy to go to a confirmation hearing on a VERY important nominee like Bolton, he NEEDS THE BOOT TOO!! He made the pubs look awfully stupid that day while empowering the RATS! Bolton was ready to be confirmed until this bastard put a stop to it...remember?! WE MUST NEVER FORGET!!
