Tell 'em to get some Pop-Tarts or something. This is important.

Well, I would agree with you there. But please explain to me how the "nuclear option" doesn't just clear the deck for Chief Justice nominee Hillary Clinton if the Dems can get the Presidency and a 50/50 or better majority in the Senate in some future election.
It seems to me that the "nuclear option" gives the Supreme Court to whichever party can win the Presidency with enough coat tails to get 50 or more Senate seats. I'm not entirely sure that's always a good thing.

Sens. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., right, and Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., front left, attend a rally on Capitol Hill, Monday, May 23, 2005, in Washington. Senators are locked in a fierce fight over what is required to approve President Bush's judicial nominees, Republicans want them seated with a simple majority vote.

Wonder where they rented this group from.

Why we await further activity, in your opinions, of all the GOP senators who have spoken to date..who did you like the most...
IMHO, Bob Bennett was superb...and a special kudo to David Vitter..he called out his same-state colleague, Mary Landrieu, for breaking her promise tot the voters to vote for confirmation votes..It's rarely done on the Senate floor..Vitter, in his quiet, calm way, will be a real player..he should ahve the seat for the next 24 years, at the least..

She recommended that President Nixon NOT be represented by counsel in the impeachment hearings. In a book written by the leader of the committe head (forgot his name) afterwards, Hillary Rodam was the ONLY ONE NOT recommended for furthe employment, and he explained why. Does anyone have more complete details about this? Here is the Book

I thought Santorum was good. He seemed genuinely upset at the Dims and his passion seemed real.
