Oh gawd, Kennedy was their guest. Thanks for posting the transcript.
I must admit I think I have vaguely heard of her is she the BBC Washington Correspondent or something like that I miss Charles Wheeler myself, though left wing he had some substance. Ribbon waiting ready to post may have to disappear for a few minutes to dish dinner (lunch) up but will keep on line and be at the ready.
"If I were the King of the Forest...."
What is that all about must have missed something
My theory is that they actually have done worse stuff and are hoping to take the spotlight off themselves.
Hey, the Jib-Jab guys got hired by Budweiser and I just saw their first commercial!
Thanks, maggie. It was at the "What are you smoking, Bob" moment that I reached for the remote. And Mehlman is "evangelizing?" What the heck is he talking about?
It seemed to me that the Concerned Women for America spokesman talked circles around the University Women Rep. I thought the host introduced emails to aid the lefty and even coached some of her answers toward the end.
Clear win for "up or down votes!"
The later dem callers seemed to develop a talking point: "Why are we wasting time discussing this issue, when there are more important, etc etc..."
If Kristol is on the panel this morning, will he or will he not confront his buddy McCain about this renegade "deal" effort? I'm waiting for that one as much as Brit's smack down.
Mehlman is making a concerted effort to court blacks and Hispanics. I presume that is what he meant, although it is an odd word to use.
You are correct. He did just that. Not usual for C-Span so far as I have noticed.
Has Kristol commented on the dirty dozen?
Nelson and Graham on CNN Late Edition...I'll be taping or watching.
Graham is a turncoast and has let the state of South Carolina down with his backdoor deal making regarding the judicial filibuster.
Dean is talking to his radical base, trying to get them to contribute actual $$. Ken Mehlman is out and about talking to dems, trying to interest them in the Republican party. Hence "evangelizing" oooh, scary! How awful and "unfair" of him.
I will celebrate when Capitol Gang leaves the air. Mark Shields does not deserve the presence of a microphone.
It is a term we use in the UK to indicate spreading your message I think since we have become more secular it is in fact used more.
A bit like saying a catholic taste in music meaning that one likes all types of music.
I haven't read or heard anything ...but what do I know? He did seem to support Brit's concern about what the 12 were up to, but I don't remember his exact comment(s).
That time has come. It is the right time. Bush is masterful at patience and the Repubs have taken a page out of his playbook and used it. Bush holds his cards til he's sure of the time to play them, now it's Frist turn to them lay 'em down.
Now the time comes for Shock and Awe!
It may be a spelling error in the transcript, should be "liberal lyin'."
;-)
OK. Then I'll venture a guess that if he's on the panel, he'll give McCain a either a pass or a softball.
If Graham is paying attention to the phone calls he's getting about his dirty deal making, he'll back off.
