When you are at 0 popularity like he is, there is no down side.

LOL. I did not think of it from that perspective. You get a blue ribbon from me anyway.

Yes, that is a piece of Americana that desperately needs correcting.

Posting from your remote location? LOL

The new news that I picked up from McCain is that there are "more than a dozen" meeting for the last time tomorrow night. He was using his statesman-like voice today but got in some knocks against Bush. Typical.

I haven't got Russert/Dean yet, but Russert did ask a few good questions, I understand. Oh yeah, Dean said that Bernie Sanders is NOT a Socialist...he's a "liberal democrat"....LOL

McVain stated that once the nuclear option is passed for judiciary nominees, it would then be used for legislative issues, causing the Senate to be more like the House.

What hogwash.

This granstanding clown believes his support among conservatives won't be hurt by his vote. Let's see what the future holds for McVain.

Tim: Lieberman, Clinton, etc., all said that Iraq was a threat to the US.

Dean: Because they were told that by the president.

President Clinton said it years before there was a President Bush(43)

The real question is why Russert won't acknowledge this.

I used to think that McCain was simply a self promoter with a mean streak for those who got in the way of his self promoting. Now I'm convinced he occupies a point well to the left of the median of the Bell Curve. Constitutionally, he's retarded.

I'm guessing, but this may be the quote of the day. Finally, the leader of the Democrat party admits they are all socialists, that there's no difference between a Democrat and a socialist.

How I wish all Rep. Senators would be wary of their faux "comity". Leaky Leahy and the Vice President popped into my mind. :)

And what a picture to pop into your mind.!!!

Tat seems to be the way of the world in Washington. Nothing new there. They just hope the populace sleeps through all these things.

So are you saying that if the minority party Votes to vote on a certain issue that they are going forward and not filibusting?

If there are 60 votes on Tuesday, to uphold the cloture motion, the nominee will be voted on over the objections of the (less than 41) who voted to not vote.

No nuclear option. No fireworks. Just "move on" as has been done in the past. The nominee will get the vote.

FOX might. Rush, Hannity, et al, as well. If repeated and quoted enough it could be harder for the MSM to ignore. If nothing else, the MSM will "clarify" Dean's comment in order to sanitize it for the public.

Gotcha Morgan, good call but hopefully no ribbon!

Just listened to Dean dump on Rush for giving lectures on "moral values" when he has his own demons, if Rush does not hammer him tomorrow I will be surprised.
