The problem is if we get it(about personal accounts) how can it be that hard for the rest of the country to get it, are they all that dumb?
Oh, and McCain does not think that scuttling the judges will hurt him with conservatives. He won't allow political ambitions get in the way of doing what is right.
No real smackdown on FNS because Brit wasn't there. Paul Gigot sat in for him and, believe me, Paul Gigot is no Brit Hume.
At one point it looked as if Gigot was going to take Juan on, but he didn't.
The dems hope they are
No truer words were ever spoken, my friend. How I wish all Rep. Senators would be wary of their faux "comity".
The rats' Saturday address went to great lengths to describe how their constituents get a huge benefit from the survivor and disability benefits, quoting ages, salaries, etc to claim that their FICA taxes would equal a life or disability insurance policy of many hundreds of thousands of dollars.
They are trying to frighten dems into thinking that these benefits will be taken away.
Of course, they neglect to mention that collecting these bennies means that the worker is dead or disabled. I guess that isn't a real hot selling point.
The rat speaker was Meek from FL who reads tolerable well. To listen was excruciating, but I was waiting for something else on CSPAN and was captive.
So are you saying that if the minority party Votes to vote on a certain issue that they are going forward and not filibusting?
Sorry for the thickhead...
Did you type that without laughing?
Leaky Leahy and the Vice President popped into my mind. :)
How many times did McCain repeat "political ambitions"?
Congress already has personal savings accounts. Why, then, do they want to deny all Americans from enjoying the perk that they voted for themselves?
So what's the "news" today? Anybody make any headlines?
Of course it's not correct. Howard Dean is from the Clinton school, if his lips are moving he's lying.
Of course, you forget the 47% who voted for Kerry. So, in fairness, YES there ARE some who are dumb enough to oppose having their own retirement accounts.
Actually, I was shaking my head at how delusional the idea is. We need to send his people some of our threads. The "stateman" act was barf bag inducing.
I agree. He's a media darling on the right for the MSM...but his time is over and in this day and age when everything is about "MEisms" he is shameful as well as the other pantywearing rino's in the repub party.
"Oh and McCain does not think that scuttling judges will hurt him with conservatives"
Actually he is right. When you are at 0 popularity like he is, there is no down side.
Lunch long over even eaten my yogurt ribbon posed
Did anyone catch the "poll" on the Chris Matthews show? 20 jouralists asked about the Arab world's opinion of America and who is to blame. Eevery one of the jounalists was a left winger. Every one!
