Just leaving the movies in downtown Palo Alto. Cops are all over, sealing off the two main streets. Gang of black dressed punks just tore thru breaking stuff up. Still on the rampage. Every cop in Palo alto and Menlo seems to be on the streets. All traffic diverted. Developing.

One of my favorites, too. Glorious to see the beautiful, old black-and-whites on the big screen.

I never heard of the stanford theatre. I used to like to go to Memorial Auditorium for Sunday night flicks.

I don't get it. They are complaining that their routine is stifling. Okay, fine. Change your routine.

On Friday, May 20th, A reclaim the streets was held in downtown Palo Alto on University Avenue. The party lasted about an hour before people were dispersed by 3(yes, 3) different police forces from different cities working together. The entire downtown area was shut down to incoming traffic, and only a few arrests were made. Below are photos from the event. Pic 1 shows cops trying to clear a dumpster from the street. Pic 2 shows the newspaper dispensers which were used as blockades. Pic 3 shows the party on University Ave. Pic 4 shows some property destruction(property enhancement?) that occured at an American Express storefront. This action was in all, a success. Is the east side of Palo Also - or downtown?
Neither area is very safe anymore.

mini 14 or 12 ga? decisions decisions Oh, man. You're over-thinking this. The answer is 12 ga, obviously. A whole lot more satisfaction, and a lot less trigger-pulling. Duh.
