If he called it off, he is a heartless b@st@rd. Hope you heard wrong, or that she was kidding.

Before getting in line, if somebody broke her heart, he's due an ass whoopin'

I'd like to see a source, or at least get verification from others here.
Otherwise, I'm not biting.

Not sure which one ended it or if it was mutual.
She announced it on her show last week or the week before, but thankfully she was engaged for a while, because the impending marriage was what got her to go to the doctor for the exam she had been putting off for nearly 4 years.
That's how the cancer was found.

I believe I remember hearing Laura say sometime last week that the two of them had decided that marriage was nothing to play at & called off the wedding. Something to that effect.

(Just my opinion, of course. Your mileage may vary.)

The wedding is definitely off -- she announced it on her show a couple of weeks ago.
No details of what led up to the break-up have been shared, so I have no idea if her fiance was the one who "called it off."

The wedding is off, and it is an after effect of the diagnosis.
However, she has only hinted at the idea that he called it off. I believe that's what happened, but she has not said so directly.
I agree with other posters on this thread: if he walked out because of the cancer, then he is an undeserving heartless bastard and she can consider her cancer to be a great blessing, for outing the pig.

I seriously couldn't even imagine being tempted by another woman, if I had Laura to come home to. *sigh*

I hear that Laura is now talking of chemo. She is 40 and was looking to start a family. Chemo many times will make that NOT an option. That may have had a part in the decision.

No matter how hot a woman is...somewhere there is a guy that is tired of 'getting with her'.
Just a fact of life..

Laura, I'm just a poor, "Pittsburgh Hunky," but if I was in love with you enough to marry you, as you fiance was, I would still do so. If this is true where he called it off, he is a cad pure and simple, but if he was this type of person, it is better to find out now than later. My prayers to you and yours.

Laura would be great in a conservative harem, but for marriage I would hold out for Ann Coulter. We could corner the market on harsh commentary.
