I'm sitting here in Wisconsin with two liberal Senators and if I called them every day it wouldn't budge them a centimeter.Exactly right. So frustrating, isn't it?

The filibuster issue will fall to the wayside. The Repubs WILL get a Judge to the Supreme Court. Roe vs Wade WILL be overturned. The Dems will acuse the Repubs of denying "Women their Rights". NOW is Happy because they KNOW thatThe Repubs did it....and they promise to stick closer to the Dems so they don't lose any more rights. (That college head that lost is job because of something he said is a good example of where the Dems are going).

Somebody rebut Swimmer's 96% approval of judges lie. Oh, add in the lie about Gonzales calling Owen an activist judge.

Wonder how long it will take and which R's will cave and screw the whole thing up so the D's can have their way. We don't want to make the D's mad at us, you know.

Everyone please remember the debate starts today. The vote is next week. There is going to be a lot of nonsense from the Dems.

To: Pukin Dog
I expect you are correct. It'll all happen when I'm at the in-laws next week with only intermittent dial-up.

To: Pukin Dog

Teddy wanted to "reserve" his right to object! No such thing. He was slapped down.

As much as our side doesn't want to admit it, it was indeed Frist who first expressed the "constitutional" option as "going nuclear."

Dems stall tactics are over. Frist starts out saying, "I rise not for party, but for principle."

I think you're right. The bad thing is, it gives them the whole weekend to concoct some new strategy or peel votes off through threats and intimidation.

"After the first 100 hours of the debate will come the 2nd 100 hours of debate, then the 3rd 100 hours....
Frist, nor any of the other RINOs have the guts to stand up to the democrats."
I'll bet you (an additional) ten dollars donation for FR that by June 6, 2005, that win or lose, Frist have brought a vote on the floor of the Senate which will decide this phony "filibuster" issue for this session. The Demodogs may win this vote, but the vote will happen.
Do you agree with my challenge?
