Haunted my foot. Not only did he manage to insult black people but he insulted his own people too.

"It is a reality in the United States that anyone can prove."

He has to realize that racial politics and sensitivity are not about reality, facts or genuine justice.

Racial politics are about money and power.

Fox stepped in it. He needs to get away from the tar-baby. ;-)

In much of Latin America there's a strong presumption of skin color denoting class status.

And watch how many FReepers continue to agree with Fox's insulting of American citizens, nevermind the fact that he encourages his illegal immigrants to come here.

Agreeing with a criminal like Fox over their own countrymen. Funny, ain't it?

Somebody held his feet to the fire for shooting his mouth off. As for Derbez, we put a friggin Ambassador in your shit hole of a country to look out for Americans. Of course all we have to do is pick up a newspaper any day of the week and pretty much figure out that you can't and won't control your bandidos.

Mexicans are frequently themselves the victims of discrimination in the United States and are still smarting over the U.S. crackdown on illegal immigrants, including a border wall in California and limits on drivers' licenses for undocumented migrants.

Attn Fort Worth Star Telegram: Repeat after me,

illegal alien
illegal alien
illegal alien
The fact is many Mexicans didn't see the remark as offensive.

The fact is many Mexicans don't see the breaking of U.S. laws as offensive.

Spin spin spin. Has anyone bothered educating civil rights leaders here about the inherent racism that goes on in Mexico, against her own citizens? I wonder how it would play if Jesse Jackson gave a speech about how wrong it is, to drive out your indigenous population to a foreign land. Perhaps some of these do-gooders would like to trace back the ruling party's family trees? See anyone who is Indian?

Dear Jesse,
Please don't take President Fox's comments as a slur on African Americans. You see, he was actually paying *you people* a compliment. He sees you as being one step above half his own country's population. I'd say it was mighty white of him.

See you in church,
Robert Byrd

Now Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have an excellent opportunity to take their shakedown tactics (blackmail) South of the border, go global, if you will. "This is a nice little country you got here, we'd really hate to see anything happen to it."
