NewsWeek needs to get a healthy dose of being dixie Chicked!
you forgot about 1,000 other things
Yes... and.. Bring Mike Isadumb$h!t over for a visit of the locals and a " I'm sorry tour " !!!
They did everything in their power to get effn Kerry elected and that didn't work so they'll go down trying to prove that they were right and we were wrong for re-electing President Bush.
If wartime censorship had been in place Newsweek, its corporate parent The Washington Post, all affiliated publications and its broadcasting properties would have been confiscated by now.
Moreover, any writer or editor who had a part in this story would be tried for treason and punished at level commensurate with his or her involvement. Coporate officers and Board members would also be subject to prosecution.
Anyone here interested in demanding Wartime Censorship? For a young and eager conservative politician, this is an initiative that could be a reputation-maker.
I was listening to the radio in the car this morning and during one of the newsbreaks the announcer said that the federal government was looking for a retraction of the story. I wonder WHO the hammer was and WHAT was said. To be a fly on the wall...
I agree with you. On another thread, I got slightly flamed for saying victims' families should sue Newsweek.
Just a page from the ACLU and liberals' book, a dose of their own medicine, sue Newsweek into oblivion!
Newsweek lied; People died!!
Words of wisdom there. The VRWC doesn't have to do much more than let them skewer themselves, and then politely point it out. Or maybe not so politely.
So sue me. Or make your own list. /kidding
Maybe those libbies can resurrect those dead students

But seriously they should , and they would have to be protected of course.
But wouldn't that be a lovely scene!?
Media reps being shouted down and loudly blamed for lying...
How a refreshing .
Has DU decided to disbelieve the Earth is a globe, too? Isn't it easier to get those rigged voting machines across the planet if it's flat?
Wasn't he also the person who pooh-poohed the story that Muhammed Atta had met up with Iraqi agents in Prague just weeks before the 9/11?
Scrappleface beat you to the subscription suggestion!
CNN's Frank Sesno says NEWSWEEK has handled this extremely well. But he says, NEWSWEEK will have to investigate to see how this happened. Wolf Blitzer reminds viewers that NEWSWEEK originally said they had sources (plural), but now they say there was only one source. Like in the case of Oklahoma City bombing when law enforcement was looking for 2 middle eastern types...that information was wrong. That's what happened here. Newweek wasn't wrong, their source was. (From Sesno)
