In fact, let me correct the record just to be clear...MJY was not the one who posted this, it was HAL9000. The only thing he did was say it should be breaking news and express his enthusiasm for her visit. You accused him of making a mistake for saying it should go in breaking news, and of going ga-ga over Condi. He retorted rather grumpily, then apologized when you complained about THAT. Then you REALLY started hammering him with imaginary accusations.

But Mike, I never said you were going "ga-ga", that was left to you. Now, you did get very ugly and lashed out, saying "Al" Gore, "burn a cross", "Miss Cleo", "pee we herman"... I believe that to be a symptom of someone who blindly believes in Rice as a successor to President Bush and literally hates anybody who disagrees with them. Tell me where I'm wrong.

The point of this thread is that Secretary Rice is in Iraq on a surprise visit.

Whether she runs for the presidency or not has nothing to do with this thread.

We now know your opinion. Could we please return to the point of the thread? I find it interesting that she is there to insist they meet the deadline on the Constitution.

1. Never elected to anything
2. Pro-choice in the pro-life GOP
3. Never married, no children

Yes, because there is some work to do on that. She could have gone earlier but it would have done no good, Iraq didn't have the provisional government up yet. So now we are behind schedule. They might need to delay the August deadline.

My post #88 meant for you two. I inadvertently posted it to myself. I corrected the record to show that it was HAL9000 who posted the story, not MJY. Then I give a reprise of what happened in the posting history of you two on this thread. Advance_copy may not be drinking Condi koolaid, as he accuses others, but something sure is going on with this poster {{{in his own mind}}}.
