Nope. But the first step is admitting you've got a probelm with Condoleezza Kool-Aide. So you're making progress. Only trying to help.

Her record stands on the issue

The only record she has is saying she's "pro-choice". There's a lot of other problems with Rice as a candidate, but she's alright as Secretary of State.

What is the next step?

Should I burn a cross?

She's a great SOS! You have to be proud of her, Americans...

What is the next step?

The next step is to stop lashing out. Accusing those who disagree with you of being "anal", "Al" Gore, Miss Cleo, "burn a cross", it's pretty ugly... turn away from that.

I'm proud of her just because she's a female and she gives us dignity and "we have a dream"... Condoleezza Rice is one of the best people in the whole world I adore most!

So MJY posts that the SOS went to Iraq and puts it in breaking news, and you attack him for being, in your words, against "pro-life conservatives"? Riiight...

No, I said MJY was "lashing out at pro-life conservatives who don't support someone that is 'pro-choice'", which is precisely what happened.

Re: Condoleezza Kool-Aide.

Why don't you just spill it. You're showing some unknown angst. I thought it was Condi's failure at an extreme right-to-life stance. I guess not. What gives. Stop trolling!

Not "trolling" (the Condoleezza Kool-Aide causes ugliness), just arguing with those who think Rice is viable as a successor to President Bush, which she is not.

Of course, the President's visit was on a holiday. Powell doesn't really have much of a following. That is caused by personality and policy differences. I remember that Rummy and Condi have gone to Iraq, because I like them so much more and they have splash in word and presentation. Shoot, I can visualize Condi's pic with the thigh-high boots walking out before the US forces in Germany. She's got style!

LOL, OK Pal, and while I'm at it, I should ignore your juvenile objections to me suggesting that the U.S. Secretary of State visiting our troops in Iraq should be in "Breaking News" despite the fact that FOX NEWS, CNN and the others are covering her visit as "BREAKING NEWS"

I should also ignore your condemnation of everyone here as "Kool-Aid" drinkers for expressing our appreciation of Condi's visit to our Troops in Iraq, and beg for forgiveness from you for exposing you as the anal retentive juvenile that you are.

Powell doesn't really have much of a following.

Rice doesn't either. It's small, vocal, but small.

That second step is not going very well.

seems like an attempt to make her seem viable as a successor to President Bush, which she is not.

To some of us, she is.

Right. Just a few people like her. Like 90% of the Republican party.

You are the first one to lash out, by calling him as "going ga-ga" because he posted in breaking news that she is over there, and he is excited about it. You are inferring that he wants her to replace President Bush, and that his "anal" retort back at you (for which he apologized) means that he is against pro-life conservatives". Those elements are not in his posts, at all. Your mind seems to have put them there, however. But when you began posting, you billed it as just a little disagreement over what should and should not be in "breaking news". Hardly. A whole lot more is going on with you than that. 1

Like I said, it's a small, albeit vociferous group.
