Who is going "ga-ga" over this? Does placing something in breaking news mean we are going "ga-ga"?
"Rice '08", pictures of her in a helment and goggles (which are kind of goofy, really), saying she's "Our beautiful Sec. of State"... So yeah, I'd say there's some folks going "ga-ga". You can decide if your suggestion is that as well.

I don't usually complain but who is this advance_copy person? I don't think I like him/her. Condi is the man so to speak she is doing great things and even if her pic in the helmet looks a little goofy so what she is still smart and beautiful and our SOS doing some good work in Iraq. Go somewhere else advance_copy.

Maybe we should describe your objections to the NEWS of Condi Rice's surprize visit to our brave Troops in Iraq as "BREAKING NEWS" as "ANAL".... just to be fair?
I think you should lighten up my friend. As someone who has visited our wounded Soldiers and Marines at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospitals many times, I can assure you thet they deeply appreciate a visit from someone like Condi Rice or Colin Powell.
Take a deep breath and back off

Why don't you like Condi?
Or why don't you like people going gaga over her?

I agree that it's good for morale that the SoS and other cabinet officials visit the troops in Iraq. I just don't agree with your sense of ponderosity on this particular trip, which is no different than others. The mods agreed with you, not me, so you don't need to get mean about it.

I confess, I go ga ga over strong classy Republican women representing our nation effectively in policy level positions.
That would cover Dr. Rice.
Good grief, I had no idea that was a crime.

I don't have anything against Condoleezza Rice, she's doing a perfectly fine job as Secretary of State. But going ga-ga over her just seems like an attempt to make her seem viable as a successor to President Bush, which she is not.

Another sip of Condoleezza Kool-Aide, lashing out at pro-life conservatives who don't support someone that is "pro-choice"... No different from the left.

I admit, I am a partisan, When I see Hillary with our Troops.... I wonder if they were being forced to sit with her because they failed an inspection or chose to be seen with her to avoid KP duty :-).
When I see George W. Bush with our Troops, I know they were chosen to be there on a "Merit" basis

Re: lashing out at pro-life conservatives
If that's how you felt about Condi and her supports, why not just come out and say it instead of useless festering throughout this thread. Her record stands on the issue. No need to, IMO, disrupt the thread.
