Capital and WH being evacuated.."full running evac"
Good enough, thanks.
These people are complete idiots.
I respectfully disagree.
;)
It's beginning to look like a deliberate stunt.
McClellan struggling to answer the question, "What happened between 12:03 and 12:11 pm, the eight minutes when the airplane flew the 22 miles of restricted airspace, heading toward WH."
Your friends perpetually dream of loom and doom and gloom.
The press are complaining that they may not have taken the President to a secure location today yet after September 11th, they were complaining that they didn't bring him right back to the White House.
Ugh...aren't they a bunch of ridiculous people? These stuffed-with-their-own-importance journalism majors most of whom took the "easy" classes in college (I know, I took them, LOL) and have less education than the experts they question with such arrogance.
Question from reporter .. how do you know that proceedures were followed and everyone was notified of evacuation
u haul? was it not a ryder truck that was used in OK.
Actually my take on it was that the reporter was struggling to understand McClellan's answer.
"Your friends perpetually dream of loom and doom and gloom."
Hillary Clinton was in a dream I had a few nights ago. That's about as "loom, doom, and gloom" as you can get :)
Hey, maybe we're neighbors! I've got hobby pilots the way other people have flies. Only the one that's really frosting me is a ritzy blue helicopter (I think it costs about a million) from a golf resort "with its own heliport". Think we could go in together for a GTA missle?
The fact that they said they had him in handcuffs gives me a bad feeling.
Well i have been able to confirm that the plane was in fact stolen and this person had no business in it.
Ok, apparently my original post wasnt clear. I am saying that I think a U-Haul is a far greater threat than a small airplane. Look what a u-haul did in OKC, almost did at WTC '93, does frequently in the ME. A small airplane has a very limited cargo weight and couldnt carry much to do nearly as much damage as a fully packed rental truck.
If either are carrying N-B-C weapons, it probably doesnt matter if there is an evacuation or not, and might make more sense to remain indoors.
But what happens when a rental truck drives down Pennsylvania Ave near the WH? Nothing. But let a small airplane stray into restricted airspace, and all hell breaks loose. Im not saying to ignore the plane, but I think an all out evacuation is too much.
90% of those slugs would've been psyched if it'd crashed into anyone but them.
