poss. that the beacon transmitter may have failed. there was concern that if a plane were hijacked, the hijacker would have found a way to disable the beacon so they couldn't be detected (again, security erred on side of
caution) (fox n again)
Now people are seen flowing back in to the direction of the Capitol.

Yeah, I'm surprised Pitinkie's still around. Who was it who "outed" him the other day?

"Another uncle was a fighter pilot in the Navy. I understand that their planes are heavier than normal due to beefy suspension and stuff for carrier landings, but recall that theyd pretty much fly like a brick at 90 knots. Thats the impression I got anyway."That's mine as well, Who dat. My dad and his brother were both aircraft carrier Naval fighter pilots.

So ban human beings Banning these kinds of flights in the vicinity of the WH would probably make banning the whole human race unnecessary

It turned around then re-entered. NORAD statement expected soon...there seems to be a 'lack of co-ordinated activity'. This is something we should have learned since 9/11.--FOXN Maybe it was a "drill" after all.

Thanks. Glad it turned out okay. Sure got me going, though......

Yes and human beings may also shot the idiot down too and I would not care. That's also a human response that would be understandable. My point is, Sh__ happens, Sh__ will ~always~ happen. I get a kick out of people who think mistakes and scares, and for that matter, real attacks, can ever be completely prevented.

And if he has the faintest terror links
deport him through a fine screened sieve
--preferably from a high plane onto a Spanish pig lot.

"How does an F16 go slow enough to escort a single-engine plane?" Circling around it maybe? The F16's will do slow figure-8's near the small plane. I saw this happen on 9/11, when I was working near Hanscom Field in Massachusetts. We heard a fighter jet scream overhead, we looked up, and saw it do figure 8's near the plane. It turned out that an idiot Massachusetts bureacrat decided he just had to get back from a junket, regardless of the air-travel ban that day.

His little foray cost millions in lost government worker time. The way these clowns spend money he probably delayed the spending of millions.
We're much better off when Congress and the courts are empty.
