The Vote is under way!
It is 2:12 AM
Hope you've loosened that blue silk tie by now! :-)
Good Tory show in Wales!
Has Dan Rather called the race there yet?
Now the Tory seats are starting to come in slowly.
Has he called it here yet?
It was actually a good Independent show in Wales. The more contentious seats are yet to be decided.

Clare Short ick, ick, ick, ick, spew, ick!
Hate that woman being returned! Ewwww!
Thanks .. it's pretty late
LOL! The Clinton Curse! I love it when you think about and their delimma if he campaigns for her or not -- their track record of helping other people since he left office is nothing short of dismal.
"Being as this is the first British election I've followed with anything approaching closeness, I'll certainly bow to the more learned. But more seats seems a good thing, at least to me. To become a true political force it seems to me this is what the Tories need."
It's true, but it's also true that to actually challenge to win it will be necesaary to gain a greater share of the vote in future. The worry is that a result that looks 'not bad' will lead some to believe that there was not much wrong with the manifesto and campaign that was put forward.
That would not be my view. It's a worry that, after 2 heavy defeats, the party still hasn't had the kind of ideological overhaul that Labour went through in a similar situation.
"This race is hotter than a Times Square Rolex."

Cardiff Central goes Lib Dem as I suspected.
And British Summer Time is 5 hours ahead of Eastern Daylight Time, so we're back to "normal." But Britain goes to Summer Time a week or so before we go to Daylight Savings Time, so there was some confusion for a while.
When I saw the bloke in the orange jump suit, representing the 'bean party' - I thought of a future candidate! *LOL*
Only in Wales!
I have seen Tony Blair after other elections and this time he looks a bit subdued. Already had a cabinet minister quit so this is not a very good night for him and the Labour Party IMHO.
Think Hellary will want him to work on her election ?
"Cardiff Central goes Lib Dem as I suspected."
I live here. That was never in doubt, big student vote and the Lib Dems swept the council elections last year.
Checking in BUMP
True...and now we're talking about going to EDT a month earlier (and to EST a month later), which will really cause confusion.
He is more popular here in the US than in his own country LOL!
Snugs if he was smart he should get rid of BBC funding
Even Eastenders on PBS start sucks LATELY LOL!
