LOL! The Clinton Curse! I love it when you think about and their delimma if he campaigns for her or not -- their track record of helping other people since he left office is nothing short of dismal.

Bill Clinton managed to portray himself as a Moderate largely because people didn't know him. Hillary is trying to portray herself as a moderate but people do know her, and I doubt she'll pull it off. Since an 8 year term and time following Bill Clinton's reputation has been irreparably tarnished.
Clinton shows up in "red" states, and those states become even more conservative. But, Hillary is not universally loved by her own base. Her base loves her husband. Without her husband they would be less inclined to support her. So it'll certainly be interesting to see how they attempt to manage that balance act. Either Bill campaigns for her or he keeps his profile virtully non existant. They turn off half the country either way.
