ATLANTA (CNN) -- Jennifer Wilbanks, a Georgia woman missing since Tuesday night, has been found alive and well in New Mexico, a friend of the family told CNN.
Wilbanks was located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and told her family she had been abducted and taken there, according to John Kim, a friend of Wilbank's family.
Excerpt - story follows:CNN
exactly.....she had to have had cash on her for all the bus tickets.....
Well, I DID say there were a lot of crazy people in this country!
Apparently one of them is Jennifer Milbanks.
OMG.......OMG.......how horrible for them. And it really does appear that nobody told the family and friends until they announced it.
Listen to CNN! Why hush your mouth. Ok, so what's she saying?
I've got a question. If she just ran off, then why did she cut her hair?
Yes, that poor guy was dragged through the mud.
Keep watching.......she is torqued!
I'm not so jaded, after all! Mu hunch/gut feeling was correct!!!
WoW! Eloped with a pair of shears.... Whodda'thunk.
ROFLOL!!!
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas?! Not if you claim you were ABDUCTED and the ENTIRE COUNTRY IS LOOKING FOR YOU!!!
Remember a couple of years ago up in Wisconsin (I think) a girl made up a story about being abducted? They looked all over...etc..and she finally came clean? I think they ended up charging her with a crime.
She took the bus to Vegas, and was on her way back, stopped in Albuquerque and called. No charges in New Mexico, not sure about Georgia charges. She initially called 911 and said that she had been abducted. Lied to 911 operator.
The same questions I just asked my husband. Add to that, no one in the family ever had problems like this with her before? And, no one saw her getting on the bus?
I disagree. I think she bolted. Maybe she saw Runaway Bride and identified with Julia Roberts.
I don't think she is selfish or mean. I think she is either a borderline personality or hysteric and got into a huge wedding for the sheer drama and then had a moment of sanity, realized she was doing the wrong thing, and ran like hell.
I have seen brides get so wrapped up in the wedding and then they get the second thoughts people get and work thru it.
Doesn't everyone have a moment of second thought before a wedding?
Absolutely!!!
Oh, man! I missed it. That's worth good money to see.
I still think there's something strange about her fiance, too.
Did you really say that? link please? ;)
Seriously her picture was wide eyed animated....I really didn't think she took off though, I thought this was going to be another Scotty type story.
