ATLANTA (CNN) -- Jennifer Wilbanks, a Georgia woman missing since Tuesday night, has been found alive and well in New Mexico, a friend of the family told CNN.
Wilbanks was located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and told her family she had been abducted and taken there, according to John Kim, a friend of Wilbank's family.
Excerpt - story follows:CNN
WTH!!! I'm there!! With you!! :D
"I am a survivor of late stage Graves"
Did you have full involvement of the thyroid initially or hot spots? Back in the old days relying on the T3, T4 and PBI were about the only things available for making a clinical diagnosis. Ironically, one of the best diagnostic tools back in the late 60's and early 70's was a simple little device called a photomotograph. It measured ankle reflex. Slow, slurred reflex=hypo, fast peaked reflex=hyper.
"The husband just thanked Sean Hannity, and said he'd like to get in touch with him."
Why would he want to get in touch with a right wing, homophobic, bible thumping, border enforcing, gun toting, bible thumping warmonger?
LOL! Poor thing. (actually, I don't know if I really feel sorry for her....)
John was really angry with the other media folks. I think that's why Greta was invited back by the family this morning for the exclusive interview at the house with the family.
but he was cleared by the lie detector test.
Cutting her hair for what reason? If they wanted ransom, the person must be whole. They must have become scared and the cops are alert. Interstate crimes are a federal offense and carry long prison sentences.
Boy. Making long distance calls on MY taxpayer money with NO regard as to the costs. Spendthrift wasters.
Right now I'd say it's even money that there never is a wedding.
This is odd though; lots of questions and NONE of them about the husband for a change!
"Sounds like the wedding is back on."
Could you go forward with a wedding if something like that just happened to you?
" Too emotional, and their minds are built for recipes and cleaning, not saving lives."
...and they have smaller feet to enable them to get closer to the kitchen sink and oven.
u r right
Some of the reporters seem to have difficulty with coherently filling air time. I sometimes think they just string random phrases together, especially when it is live coverage of an event.
No, he was not; he never took the one the police wanted to administer.
Cutting her hair would make her less recognizable.
Also in some kidnap for ransom especially in South America, there is a history of cutting off a finger or an ear and mailing it to the family to confirm that they mean business.
Kidnap for ransom is a business in parts of Central America.
I'm glad she's alive and well but...
I don't know... This story is awfully strange...
I'd guess fifty-fifty that it was cold feet verses being kidnapped. We'll see if her story stands up after being investigated. I suppose it's possible after all the media attention the kidnappers got scared. But the same thing could be said for her as well.
well, I couldn't . I'd be postponing, but I'm not them.
my mother didn't have all the symptoms you mentioned, but also she is diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, not Graves. She had extreme weight loss, down to 68 lbs., muscle wasting, the racing heart and stubbornly didn't seek medical help until the heart scared her enough. She was in real estate and did continuously drag her 68 lbs. into the office, perhaps her excess energy. She's been on tapazole since '99 to regulate the thyroid. Glad you made it through your ordeal.
Precisely. Besides, how can anyone POSSIBLY wield a scalpel with those bosoms in the way of your vision?
