er........That's not something you usually do AFTER you kidnap somebody, is it? You'd think that would be the plan from the beginning.
Of course, not being of the criminal mind...

he took a lie detector test, and was not suspected by authorities.

And they were "thinking" about asking for a ransom -- like as an after the fact thing? Wow, that's not something you usually do you take somebody, is it?I think maybe they heard about the $100,000 reward. Someone said earlier during an interview that if anyone had any information on her abductors that the reward money was still out there for them. That could be why they got so scared and let her go.

Well, I take back all my unvoiced suspicions about her fiance. And I take back the police investigation, the 30 second radio spot identifying him as the killer, and the billboards with his picture and the caption: "When you're cold-blooded and you just killed your fiance, where can you get a burger and fries that will SATISFY?"

I guess we'll all be seeing this play out in the news coverage.

CNN reporterette just managed to give 2 different versions in the same sentence......that "she managed to escape" and "they let her go."

I sure agree with you about Neil. He really is quite good.
Greta has been able to make real connections with so many of these people that are going through hard, terrifying times.
She must be very comforting off camera. They all seem to really like her.
I'll be paying more attention to her from now on.

Guy on MSNBC says that she either was watched and kidnapped or they saw her as a victim of opportunity. LOL! Gee. Ya think?
What a friggin' genius for narrowing it down so well. ;-)

I'm a physician is why I notice these things. But you have a female screen name, and EVERYBODY knows that women can't be doctors. Too emotional, and their minds are built for recipes and cleaning, not saving lives.

Can go either way hyper or hypo as symptoms can cross over.
I had my thyroid removed as it was thoroughly diseased.
So now for 20 yrs I have taken synthroid and my body does eats it up so my dose is at 3.00. Which is very high as the low end dose is .25 and goes up in 1/4 doses.
And yes I am personally an expert on my case.

lol!
Maybe they were on drugs when they decided to kidnap her. Obviously, they aren't brain surgeons to kidnap someone in the first place. lol!
