As the SS Ponzi scheme begins to collapse, the Big Government Republican politicians begin to carve up the spoils, hoping to maximize votes while they build their own government-parasite pensions and theft from taxpayers.

Redistributionist bullsqueeze from Bush, as expected. More Big Stupid Government crap from our Maximum Politician.

A coworker today said the news conference would be for President Bush to announce that the USA has taken over the Iraq oil fields due to the energy crisis. She said the President's people have connived to push the gas prices high in order to pressure Congress and the American people to accept this - like you say - proving the war was really for oil after all.

The insane propaganda that is out there makes me sometimes feel as if I am living in the USSR or Red China. Good people - and she is a friend - a deceived one - after hearing insanity long enough - finally yield to it - lock stock and barrel. Or some do.

President Bush just doesn't get it. We don't manage anything that is not in crisis already. Planning ahead 10 or 11 years is never done in govt. No wonder no one wants to listen to GW, he is trying to manage govt. instead of deal with a crisis. Doesn't have a prayer.

I do to---and I like the idea of lower income Americans getting more that richer---If I were rich, I wouldn't even take Social Security---

My kids are in their 20's and there will be no SOC. Security if something isn't done now.
