Being a leader of the world's only superpower tends to age a person 20 years in only 4 years....

Energy first. Four key steps.

1. Make use of technology.

2. Make use of our current resources.

3. Use new technologies.

4. Get growing energy consumers like Chine and India to conserve with new technologies.

Starts off talking about high price of gas, need to make it more affordable. No price gouging at pumps in America.

Root causes driving prices up must be addressed. Consumption higher than production. To reduce dependence on foreign oil 4 steps:

1. better use of technology to be better conservers

2. innovative /environmentally senative ways to make good use of our own sources

3. hydrogen, biodeisel

4, help China, India etc use energy more effeiciently diminishing demand for fossil fuels.

Says Americans have waited long enough, congress needs to get bill to his desk for signature by summer.

Now talking on Social Security

The House and Senate are still in session...ABC, NBC and CBS are all carrying it live. (It seems to me that's not always the case.)
