I know this has been circulating FR for several days now, but I received my print copy of the April 25, 2005 edition of Time yesterday. There is the picture on page 34 and the caption reads: "Protesters blast Coulter at the G.O.P. Convention in New York City last year, above left." I counted no less than four Protest Warrior "official" signs in the picture. The irony is delicious. I was surprised that the Time staffers didn't catch this and yank the photo from the final print version. But there it is. Although the Protest Warrior logo is cropped from the sign in the foreground, it still partly visible in the middle sign. Protest Warrior strikes again!

Whoa! Thanks for the scan.......Obvious scan-scam! They dropped the communistforkerry header....this missing the whole purpose of the PW poster.
Is it my imagination, or has Time been doing this kinda cr*p forever and they are only recently getting caught on it?
FR...ya gotta love it! FReep on!

"Can you recommend the best of her books?"
Treason, easily. Followed by Slander. Her latest book (How to Talk to a Liberal) is a compilation of her columns, so you'd probably find it redundant. High Crimes and Misdemeanors, which was her first book and is about the Clinton impeachment, was the only one I couldn't get all the way through. The nature and details of Clinton's crimes make for boring reading - she even acknowledges this in the book.

Yes, Bias so bad that it cannot see what is plainly in fron of its face.
"Criminals Against Gun Control" and "Liberating Iraqi Children" not plain enough?!
Clearly, Time was just in love with the picture of Coulter with a big "X" on her mouth.

Thx for the recommendations. As for her columns, there are too many gems from her quips to recount. But here is one that stands out since it got her fired from her weekly column at USA today last summer while covering the DNC whinefest:
"My pretty-girl allies stick out like a sore thumb amongst the corn-fed, no make-up, natural fiber, no-bra needing, sandal-wearing, hirsute, somewhat fragrant hippie-chick pie wagons they call "women" at the Democratic National Convention."
Seems like every time she gets fired from a mainstream media gig, her legend grows.

Don't just Freep. Go call a newpaper or radio. Tip Drudge.
This is absurd ---- either blinded by bias or manipulating the news.

This is an old one, but appropriate here.

It depends on what you're wanting. If you just want to howl with laughter at stupid liberal tricks, I'd go with
Slander. If you want to know information that the media probably forgot to tell you, I'd go with
Treason.
To: pookie18
Looks like Big Game Hunter Ann Coulter had some luck hunting liberals.

I was at that Protest with PW- it was the Sunday before the RNC started and it in Manhattan was we rallied against the anti-American/George Bush-hating scum that infested the streets.
I was in a deli today, picked up the issue of Time and could not believe the idiocy of them using the photo-
Just proves how they will stop at nothing to besmerch a conservative.

I heard " How to talk to a Liberal" is good :)
It's on my shopping list. I'll probably have to dig thru the books at the bookstores to find it.

Look at the caption that is on that photo on Time's site:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
"Pro-G.O.P protesters at the Republican Convention in New York City last year
"Correction: The original caption incorrectly stated that these protesters were blasting Coulter"

To: texasbluebell
Yeah, but the correction is too late for the print mag.
