Prophecy of St Malachy So does this selection translate to the prophecy?

Oh great joy!
We got Cardinal Ratzinger! I couldn't be more pleased. Just as I walked in the door and turned on the television I saw these beautiful images.

Does it bother anyone that he was Nazi Youth? He was forced to be. It was mandatory. He also was forced to 'man' antiaircraft guns.

Does it bother anyone that he was Nazi Youth? Not in the least.
I only pray he lives long enough to make his mark on the Church.

Knock it off. Let the Catholics have ONE thread of joy.
And, yes, I am a a Protestant rejoicing with them.

Total nonsense.
The truth will not be revealed in oatmeal or sourcery.

CBS News commentator saying how the Church is split conservative/ liberal and the new Pope must address Aids and abortion. As if any Pope would consider accepting abortion. And is the church against preventing and curing AIDS? Liberals are such intolerant morons.

It sounds like complete melt down at DU. It doesn't get much better than this 8-) And to think I was missing all the fun by watching EWTN. Tune into ABC or one of the other liberal networks and you'll be grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

But I was hoping for non-European. Well, since it took them something like six centuries to get a non-Italian European, I think getting a non-European in only 26 years would have been an unrealistic expectation. LOL!

There were a few others as well (myself included), but Ratzinger is a great choice too.

the Europeans need saving - badly. The poor can see the truth much easier.

For anyone interested in what Catholics grow up with: Prophecy of St Malachy http://www.catholic-pages.com/grabbag/malachy.asp Right and it should have been Lustiger. (Gloriae Olivae). Instead they pick Ratzinger who gave himself the name, Benadictine. Sheesh. The guy was a Nazi in his youth. I'm sorry, you don't escape that past.
