Calling it a night.

Thank you for the pics, Mike. Much appreciated.

Snugs, I hope you feel better tomorrow. Maybe we can play a little trivia this weekend :)

Just filed for an Automatic Extension by visiting www.irs.gov and using their phone service.

This will be the last year they have the phone extension filing service.

Hopefully next year, I'll know today is April 15, not the 14th as I thought.

However, now that our taxable income is exceeded by our standard deduction and exemptions, I won't bother to add up all the other deductions, and should be able to file easily from now on.

My mom did that too. (Except, I think she said she doesn't qualify but by the time they figure that out, she'll have the money to pay for it.) I heard on the news that Treasury Secretary Snow waited till the last minute too. (Must've been slow for news at the time. Or they thought that was really important.)

This year I found out that we could claim my mother-in-law as a dependent, since she lives with us. We decided to submit amended tax returns for the past three years, and we are getting back an additional $2,600.00 -)

We will use it to put a new roof on our home, it needs it bad. For the past year or so, I pick up pieces of shingles from our yard after every storm that blows through this windy hill we live on. It's time for a new roof :-)

Your Night Nurse has promethazine in it.

Not sure if that is legal for over the counter (OTC, no Rx needed) in the U.S.

It'd be great for hiccups, too.

However, you can get some serious permanent neurological side effects if you take it regularly or rarely even with just short courses.

Well, you can give them your bank account number on the phone and they can take the money you owe out electronically.

I was away finishing the form, and it is ready to mail tomorrow.

Would have been on time if TOMORROW had been the 15th like I thought.

Where did I misplace a day last week? I thought last Friday was the 7th.

Good luck to your Mom!

Well, $2600 sounds worth doing the paperwork over.

We need a new roof, but I don't think my husband is willing to live under the same roof with his mother.
