This revelation makes you wonder does Fidel Castro have the capability to blackmail Hollywood stars so they will have to support Castro's views anyway. Maybe Castro might have the ability to quietly slip the contents of the surveillence to the American Media, the publishers of National Enquirer, Star, Globe, and other supermarket tabloids. (It's not hard to do given that American Media's publishing offices are in southeastern Florida within easy reach of Cuba itself.)

Interesting thought... that Fidel's power could be reaching that far.
Well, these actors and models probably supported him to begin with, before traveling to Cuba and then (allegedly) being taped.

Interesting possibility (regarding blackmail), but the fact that these Hollywood leftists went to Cuba in the first place is telling. I suspect making favorable public pronouncements regarding Castro's regime doesn't strain their political sensibilities too much.

[Jack Nicholson has been saying such things for years now. Many of his Hollywood cohorts follow suit. Francis Ford Coppola, Kevin Costner, Steven Spielberg, Woody Harrelson, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Leo DiCaprio, Chevy Chase and Robert Redford, among many others, have all waxed euphoric on Castro and his island prison. ]
History will record that these fools are indeed fools, as they surely are.

BLEEP! I hate it when I read these things, I always found Nicholson's movies entertaining.
Hopefully I'll forget his politico spew by tomorrow's wakeup call.

As celebrities prove every day, everyone likes to be made to feel important, smart, and better than the common man. Anyone who makes you feel that way is automatically elevated in your eyes. Buncha fools.
Cuba is a paradise, eh? Whenever communists and socialists imagine their view of their 'perfect' government, they never imagine themselves as potato farmers or peasants.
Hey, I like that! I know what my new tag line is gonna be...

You know, these pampered celebrities cozying up to America's enemies are really making me sick.
I'm surprised no one has started an organized boycott of these piss-pot's movies and they know that they are being boycotted because of it.

Nah. I think they're just stupid.
To: RayChuang88
Why on earth would Castro think any conceivable depravity would be a threat to the popularity of these vacuous degenerates and the mentally challenegd morons who patronize their films?
He indeed overestimates the integrity of the movie viewing public in America.

I think we should put Jack Nicholson at work in the immigration office here in Florida - so he can tell all these foolish Cuban refugees that they need to go back to Paradise!
Wouldn't that be an interesting conversation to hear.

Except for Coppola, who makes my two favorite movies (Godfather I & II), there is not a single celebrity on this list who's movies I will watch.

They're ACTORS, folks.......NOT a genius among them...
If they're so in love with Castro's "paradise" ---- what the hell is keeping them from living in paradise???
Nothing keeping them from leaving the country they hate, and living in the country they love...
