Greetings everyone.

I thought I would post this here rather than start a whole new thread.

My wife Paula, is going in for back surgery on Wednesday 9/28 at 06:30 CDT to repair a double disk herniation between the L5-S1 vertrebrae.

Please pray for the following things:
1) That the surgery would go well
2) She would have a full and speedy recovery
3) Our finances would be blessed while she's out of work for 3-5 weeks.

Please ping your prayer lists also, as I don't have any of my lists with me.

Prayers for your wife's surgery. She will do just fine, I predict. Surgery is one area of medicine where major progress has been made. Just ask T.C. about his bionic hip. I just had Gall Bladder surgery on Tues. and was up and going the next day. Back surgery does take a longer heal time though. God bless.

My wife Paula, is going in for back surgery on Wednesday 9/28 at 06:30 CDT to repair a double disk herniation between the L5-S1 vertrebrae.

Mine was only a single, I think, but otherwise a similar surgery. I'll bet your wife isn't somewhere over 350 lbs like I was (but no longer am). I also had a little work done on one of the vertebrae itself to open up the path that the nerve bundle takes out from the spine.

Best wishes for your wife's speedy recovery. I'm sure He will be watching over her and guide the skilled hands of her surgeon.

David, I had this surgery 2 years ago and never looked back. I've made a full recovery and feel great. I will be praying that the surgery would go well for Paula and she would have a full and speedy recovery. The Lord will take care of your finances. God bless you both.
