TC, sir, I'm not real eloquent in my words of prayer, but I think He understands what is in my heart.
However I may express them, my prayers are out for you, a man among men.

We have been very active this summer leaving little idle time.
The Fall will be a continued venue of King Vanity on the go back to School, Marine Biology, Mom advancing her extra exercise program and proper meal plan in accordance with Amer. Diabetes guidelines.
Over the summer KV has been on the go non stop and I have brought my first newly diagnosed Diabetes under control with normal glucose levels by portion control meals and LOTSA exercise (Aqua Aerobics and Hill Walking) above and beyond the physical exertion of getting King Vanity out and about.
OP is now minus 25 lbs with plenty more to go, but I am on a mission.

If all that was not enough I thought we should throw a little more action in. (see link below)
After all with all the Prayer time for ill and sick Freepers these last couple of years it has taught me something as the Good Lord I am assuming intended. Take Care of your health before it becomes an Issue in preventative areas. So King Vanity and I are on a Mission. King is supporting me 110% as he is dependent on me to have good health for many years to come so he can keep the active life he is accustomed to.

Dear TC,
So sorry to hear you're under the weather and fighting pneumonia. You have waged so many battles and came through with flying colors. We know you will win this one, too.
We are thinking about you and send you our love and will check with Nana and all those close to you to see how you're doing.
Much love...good wishes for a quick recovery.
Love,
Auntie Stanz

Some time ago I posted some imagery to help visualize and focus TC's internal fight. Well I'm tired of messing around with the small stuff. This will take of the problem (ask the Taliban):

I would think visualizing a few of these directed at each bad guy cell and pocket of infection would work wonders:

Hello, Binny,
Well hello, Binny!
It's so nice to have you backina cave where you belong.
You're looking swell, Binny,
We can tell, Binny,
You're still glowin', you're still crowin'
You're still goin' strong.
We feel the mountains swayin'
For the plane's a-playin'

Hello, folks.....
I always catch up on the thread, then I have to wait for awhilefor the swelling to go down in my eyes before I can post.
Y'all are truly something else!
The way it stands right now is that I'll go for the tests to begin the chemical treatments in two weeks. They wanted three weeks healing time from the abdominable surgery to the test time.
As Nana has described, the chronology of events since I last posted was pneumonia, (four day hospital stay), twisted and perforated colon (seven day hospital stay) and pneumonia (four day hospital stay).
The perforated colon was caused by a little animal called divers articulitis. He is mean! He allowed poison to spew into my body cavity for four days before I gave up and went to the emergency room.
The doctor saw me at seven and operated at eleven.
I'm wearing a colostomy now and I'll have it for another two months then they'll put my pipes back together.
The colostomy sounds gross, but it's no big deal.
I'm still a Marine.
We adapt and conquer.
I sometimes think God must have decided that simply throwing cancer at me wasn't enough of a challenge. He knows I'll beat that.
He decided to test me with a bunch of rocks in the road, and that's okay. I accept His will.
With the number of friends I have praying for me, I have no fear.
WE SHALL OVERCOME!!
Thank you, friends, and may the Good Lord bless each of you.
