Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

"but from this DOG LOVER, I think I would rather hug Texas Cowboy" Maggie and I discussed this many years ago, Txsleuth.
If I were ever going to love a cat, it would be that ball of fur named Binky that makes his home in her lap.
I guess there are cat people and dog people.
As a dog person, you'll appreciate the lady who works for the auxilliary here who has a beautiful Great Pyhrenees she brings to work with her.
Everytime she brings him by he wants to get up in the bed with me.
LOL!

I did, too.

Thank you kindly for your prayers, Jim.
They are taking good care of me out here.
The food coming out of this kitchen is first class. I actually look forward to mealtime.
Some tips for the University of Texas Hospital kitchen:
All veggies don't have to taste the same.
If jaw exercise is the primary purpose of mealtime, it should be so stated to allow patients to make alternate plans for nutrition.

So good to hear from you ((TC)). You know what they say about Asian and others who come here to study. None of them are lawyers. They're too smart for that. LOL

TC,
As a Texan in exile (Maryland), I always love hearing about what's going on back home. So I was taken aback about the news on your health.
You are on my prayer list and I'll add you to our church prayer list if that's OK. I know you'll hang tough..you have hundreds of Freeper friends, thats for sure!
May the Good Lord Bless and Keep you !

Dang---that Great Pyranees might squish you, TC---LOL
I know one thing though, pets make good companions when you are recuperating from surgery (as long as you don't have to get up and let them outside)...
I think dogs can sense when their owners don't feel well, so they "keep watch"---I don't know about cats..
I am thinking that a ball of fur that sits quietly in your lap prolly would be just the thing, though...
Have a good weekend, Cowboy....I am praying for you always, and I will keep your surgery date in mind so I can send good thoughts particulary on that day!!!
Texas misses you!!

Are you sure you weren't just blinded by the overwhelming, uh, beauty of the nurses there in San Antonio? Ok, maybe beauty isn't the correct word, but the blinded part might have been the result ----- Glad to hear they have a game plan in place for you!
We continue to pray for you every day Cowboy.......rest up for the big fight!
