that was the worst officiating I have ever seen. Illinois had 4 rediculous calls that cost them 9 points

I just about threw up when Nantz tossed out that pre-fabricated line "there's a new Dean in college basketball". Har har har. I bet Nantz stayed up all night coming up with that one. Not to mention that gratuitous reference to "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "Monday night". I've heard guys on public access with far better lines.

In every game there are bad calls. As a Hurricane fan, it does seem fitting though that a Big Ten team gets their season squashed by the refs, even if it wasn't the final play of an overtime National Championship game. Not that I'm still bitter about it or anything, or even remember Terry Porter's....er...I mean the ref's name.

Hail to the Heels :-) Not my alma mater, but as I reside in the lovely state of NC I was kinda pulling for them. Illinois sure showed some guts coming back after halftime. Tough loss for them.
