I recall when Clinton President he had an audience with the Pope and the Pope said Clinton didn't act interested in what was being said - looking around-listless-something like that. Does anyone else remember this?

I have Fox on and am listening to the beautiful music, as well. No comment from Fox. Maybe they learned their lesson from Friday's horrible blunders. Or they just fired everyone except for one cameraman.

I honestly believe in his heart he was a Servant of God first and a Roman Catholic second.

In his heart he believed that being a true Roman Catholic meant being a true servant of God.

He would not have made such an artificial distinction.

Thank you for your kind comments about his achievements.

EWTN is also carrying it, and you can view them on the Internet.

I saw the video of Clinton on vacation at the Vatican. He was walking around pointing at the artwork. Way behind was the Pope, walking alone. Total disrespect. Ugly.

This is very beautiful, and really makes one realize how OLD the Church is.

I hope the Italians can muster some heavy security.....

This event may be a prime target. Many dignitaries and
perhaps 1 million+ people

I remember it. Clinton acted like he was all bored and wanted to get out of there. No manners or respect at all. Willie is a disgrace to the South and a no-count scalawag.

We live in an age where old is last season's fashions. The church reminds us that OLD means having enough value and strength to survive the assaults of time.

You noticed that, too. Diane Sawyer was on one of the MSM news programs pontificating as usual.

I think the President, Laura, and Sec. Rice ought to be the only political representatives. I do not think the abortion boosting/gay-agenda-loving Clintons ought to desecrate the services by being asked to schlep along. They shared none of the Pope's moral precepts.

Exactly. Tradition has value in reminding us of the lasting values of faith.

One of the most ridiculous examples was Juan Williams on FOX. Williams suggested the Pope had not done enough for the cause of AIDS because he never endorsed the use of condoms.

Just ask yourself, what adults in America are looking to the Pope to give them the OK to use condoms in acts of sodomy? What on earth was Juan Williams talking about or thinking? Was he really suggesting there are homosexuals dying of AIDS because of the Pope? That's just absurd.

We can only hope and pray terrorists will dither about with such rich targets in one place and lose the window of opportunity.

I doubt she would go because being on consecrated ground in such a holy event would be too much for the demon that inhabits her.

Ford is not in good enough health, I suspect.

I believe he's not travelling at all these days; funny, just last Monday I was driving my aged mother over to the Eisenhower Medical Center (houses the Betty Ford Center), when I saw a Lincoln turn in front of me into the complex....it was clearly Betty Ford in the back seat.

...probably headed over to the rehab for a board meeting, with her two SS escorts.
