Last night our next door neighbor's beautiful, healthy, 1-year-old baby girl keeled over suddenly with no warning. Her name is Chloe Shaw and she was airlifted this morning to Egleston Hospital for emergency heart surgery. The docs have already told the parents that she may not make it.
Prayers on the way that she be healed quickly and completely.
Prayers going out for Chloe. Do they know what kind of a virus it is?
Dear Lord,
Please Embrace this loving child in Your Light of Grace and Wellness so she may make a complete recovery.Thank You Lord, Amen.
And keeps on working. Prayers and BTTT.

I don't know what kind of virus it is but the docs do. They said it is not some unusual virus, it was just unusual that it affected her heart. They say she is not contagious, or at least if someone else caught the virus it would be extremely unlikely to cause the same effect.
Lord, how you love the children! I pray you will protect his innocent little girl and give her health. Please give her parents peace that only you can give and a very strong awareness of your presence. I love the story, Lord, about how you touched Jairus' daughter. You said, "Tabatha cumi" (little girl, come to me), and she did. Will you also touch Chloe and heal her now, Lord, so that she may be a delight on this earth to her parents and those around her all the days of her life? In Jesus name.
Then later in the day she went slightly back downhill, with another fever and they had to start up the epinephrine and sedatives again. According to the docs, "we are still at square one" and she could go either way.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You have sustained this beloved child unto this time. May Your Healing hand continue to rest mightily upon her, strengthening her that she could resist this infection that seeks to overwhelm her. May the treatment prescribed by her physicians give hope and promise to Chloe and her family. Surround them with comfort and encouragement, O God, that their beloved daughter would be returned to the fullness of health. In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...

Still praying for Baby Chloe.
Baby Chloe is now OFF the ventilator and several meds, and is awake much of the day. She still has some heart damage. She may be able to leave the hospital within a couple of weeks!
So thanks to all of you, because it's working.
If it's any comfort, a good friend of mine's daughter had this same problem as an infant just a few weeks old. She had some heart damage and they almost lost her several times.
Now she is a charming 17 year old who is graduating high school with honors and going on to college to study music on a scholarship. And she has hiked the Appalachian Trail with her father all the way from Amicalola Falls (the southern end) to the Virginia State Line . . .
She had a whole church full of folks praying for her. So does Chloe.
