I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.

I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.

That's what the city managers who weren't particularly friendly towards citizens who mentioned Terri's name said that as of last Sunday, they planned on sending the bill to Hospice, not to the taxpayers.

The hospice should pay for the police - and maybe the names of those policemen who volunteered for the job should also be posted. Imagine placing a nine-year old in handcuffs for wanting to give water to Terri.
Judge Greer had wfla radio 970 label the vigilers insurgents just days before his killing of her was complete. Greer had to make it look like we were an angry mob so he would look better. Nothing will make Greer better unless he's in ankle bracelets and handcuffs.

I agree with your point. We certainly don't need to have two Senators pitted against each other. We need the good Senators ALL on the same side. Hillary from Hell SURELY won't get any support or much support from Middle America would she? I just can't see the Red States going for her in any major way.!!
We KNOW Terri was brain damaged, and WE KNOW greer and all are DEPENDING upon this doctor saying there was NO TERRI in THERE.
But what we do NOT KNOW is if ANYONE has informed the coroner and the man who does investigation work in his office (I have forgotten their names...but called their office to beg that they do a thorough autopsy on Terri....JUST IN CASE her body is crying to tell the story of YEARS of neglect and abuse!
It would be SO GOOD to get some of this testimony before the coroner....even the stories of the broken wheel chair, all of the horrors michael schiavo, that girlie man with the ugly face and the satanic demeanor, was accused of,....
Because if this coroner UNDERSTANDS that the so called summaries with no foundations that Greer released are ONLY from the past four years, that THERE WAS NEVER ANY COMPETED INVESTIGATION, EVER, against michael schiavo that was COMPLETED because michael did not allow access to Terri. Period.
WE MUST GET THIS TO THE CORONER...SO THAT THIS MAN IS NOT THINKING THAT ALL ABUSE WAS UNFOUNDED...SOMETHING GREER WAS HOPING HE WOULD THINK AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE PATHETICALLY SKETCHY SUMMARIES.

If you call the main switchboard, simply ask for the Senator you are calling, and when that Senator's office answers, explain that you support a return to the constitutional tradition of a fair up-or-down vote on judicial nominees and an end to the filibuster of judges.

Sorry, but I'm virtually certain that Pinellas Co. M.E. will take his orders from the Pinellas County Commission and write up a finding that is mostly consistent with Greer-Felos-wishes. Greer came from that County Commission after they had a lock on the county. And I believe one of his closer friends is the commission woman (Shaheen?) who is still on the Hospice board. They spent 8 years together while he served on that commission.
The clincher was when that M.E. refused to allow the Schindlers to ALSO have THEIR OWN forensic pathologist present during the autopsy. Dr. Michael Baden says he would ABSOLUTELY allow something like that and highly recommended it in this case. It would put to rest all doubts by both sides on the autopsy and many things that happened.
On the very tiny chance this county ME is not yet corrupted by his bosses, he would not need to hear any allegations or suggestions. I'd bet anything he has already heard enough, plus with his background, will know what SHOULD be looked at.
