Theresa Marie Schindler... May Daily Thread 2005 CALL TO ACTION: Our Fight for Justice Continues
Various Sources ^ | April 3, 2005 | floriduh voter

Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.

I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.

There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.

The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.

I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.

Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.

I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.

I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.

PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.

Thanks, FV

Those who do not have eyes do not see and those without ears do not hear. That applies to blind justices and most media and the Schiavo ilk. Faxing them would just annoy them.

His past behavior is enough for me to have seen. It's obvious now that he never really wanted to intervene and never intended to make a serious effort.

and forget about how Terri would've died in 2003 had it not been for ONE person - JEB. Where were you all then to take his lead and and follow up with momentum that would result in this not coming up again??? Well, where were you? Were you washing your hands or were you among the thousands that were calling for his head for interfering? He got bashed good then - for SAVING her life!

The Bush bashing here far outweighs the bashing of the real killers - and I don't see posted any of the very real ramifications to the state and the whole country if the Bushes had rode rough shod over the law.

Now they - and the Congress, with DeLay at the head if we all don't let the socialist dems ONCE AGAIN get rid of a threat to them and their socialist agenda -

That is where our energy should go. SUPPORT DeLay and defeat the real killers - for the target is on us.

I can't decipher if the 'bash the Bushes' claptrap, instead of keeping the focus on the real culprits is from naivete, taking the eye off the ball - or an easy forum for DU'ers to interject and divide...

Ready for this? I heard a report on the news this morning that lethal injections for criminals being put to death are being reconsidered as cruel and unusual punishment because the criminal feels a burning sensation before they die.

Well, I understand that in Utah, they get a choice of being shot or hanged...

But we know now what a really humane and euphoric way to die is. Starve/dehydrate them.

Boy, would that bring the howling mobs out of the woodwork.

Right, the best thing we can start doing to all of our criminals and just starve and dehydrate them since that is such a beautiful and peaceful way to go.

Above all, I blame Sen King and the GOP legislators he gathered and coerced into refusing to vote to save Terri and others in her situation where the guardian is a monster.

King is proud of this vote, saying " God would have saved Terri if he had wanted her to live "

I find this so offensive and horrific, that if I lived in this absolute evil man's district, my name would be known. I know this.

This man has taken so much money from euthanasia advocates...go to theempirejournal.com...their lead article demonstrates the MASSIVE amount of money this freak of a human being took for his campaign coffers from the hospice organization, alone. Not to mention getting awards from them, and calling his 'euthanasia' (my word) work his greatest legacy.

He is a soul sick man.

He even took money from the insurance company associated with michael schiavo.

He is so evil...I don't have words.

Money drove him to kill.

I just keep emailing the word "COWARD!" to his office

Hope you're at least also mailing Greer, the other judges, Felos, Schiavo and gang with the word "KILLER" - well, are you?

Ditto to everything you said but I blame Jeb Bush the most because he should never have let Terri's feeding tube be pulled out in the first place!! He had the power all along to stop them from killing Terri but chickened out.

I'm just saying I cannot support him until he confesses he was wrong.

Confesses to WHOM!

You?

The Godly public?

Where were you all supporting him in 2003 when he saved Terri's life and had the tube reinserted? I remember the wonderful, non-judging citizens of Florida ripping him apart for "interfering" -

Where were the concerned citizens who should've supported him then and taken the momentum he created and run with it to be sure no one - INCLUDING TERRI - ever faced this again. He provided two years for action - where were you? Busy washing your hands?

Even now, instead of bashing and acting on the real culprits - you focus on bringing Jeb down...guilty conscience?

Fellow Mainer, we were doing more than that, we bearded the lion in his den. And we are not just "Bush-bashers" by pinning the tail on the elephant here.

Those things we describe happened. Period. I wished any moment of those 13 days that Jeb's army would drive up. They didn't. Jeb let us down bigtime and he didn't need to.

Somebody pull the stats and see how many crimes were committed in Pinellas County while the Pinellas Police and Pinellas County Sheriff's office were tied up at Hospice Woodside helping to murder Terri.

I bet criminals had a field day.

I hear you Saundra...and it rolls around in my mind to...but I understand that there is a greater thing operating here...when a govenor takes an oath of office, he cannot override the laws of his state.

The law is flawed.

You bet it is.

It does NOT PROTECT against monster guardians or judges who refuse to consider overwhelming evidence of abuse or neglect or actual BREAKING of guardianship laws....it CRUSHES those unable to speak for themselves. Horribly.

Jeb and our President both acted, BOTH tried to give the courts time to reconsider.

Both intervened...Jeb, twice, the first time, the passage of Terri's law was successful and SAVED HER LIFE even as the attorney for michael schiavo, mr. murderer, mr. 666 himself, THREATENED the very hospital staff that was under orders to re-insert Terri's feeding tube after seven days of starvation and dehydration.

Oh yes.

He did.

And has THIS ATTORNEY, Mr. poisonous fluid himself, EVER BEEN BROUGHT BEFORE THE COURTS FOR DIRECTLY ACTING TO PREVENT THE LEGALLY SANCTIONED RE-INSERTION OF TERRI's tube at the time?

Of course not.

But...per usual...I digress...when a govenor or a President goes against the law of his state or country...that person risks the label of acting exactly like a tyrant who obeys no law.

Jeb...if he had the courage...would hold a press conferance, and let his feelings out...he would talk to his state about Terri, about the suffering she endured, about how the LAW does not protect the innocent from guardians who are not forced to undergo guidelines, who are protected by judges who ignore GUARDIANSHIP LAW, and how much he resents the vote by sen king, mentioning, WITHOUT PAUSE, at how much the hospice organization GAVE MONEY to king, and the others who voted to deny Terri review.

Jeb should do this.

Millions suffered the death of Terri, myself included.

If Jeb were to come forward and SPILL IT OUT, ALL OF IT, things would change in FLorida.

I was wanting that too.

But the judge apparently had HIS TROOPS there to refuse entry.

A shoot out?

No way.

That is wrong on its face.

Those days that Terri lay hurting, being killed by starvation and dehydration were unbearable. For Terri, for her parents (oh my GOSH!) and siblings (horrendous) and ALL OF US who suffered the impotence to do anything to bring water to Terri and food to her and to see michael, felos, greer, labyak, etc., THROWN INTO JAIL, where I believe, they all belong for murder.

Jeb could have saved her PERMANENTLY...he didn't...enough said. A job half done is a job not done at all.

Gee whiz! I can attest to that!! You realize, I think, I must have been one of those meanie criminals.

They were after us criminals big time. They had no problem at all sparing their finest to track me down, surround me, and nail me for an expired Maine license tag.

Mea culpa, darn it.

I haven't been posting about Terri lately as I have been very busy at work and on top of that, have been sick with strep throat all week. Despite all that, I haven't been able to get Terri out of my mind. Just like Sept. 11 changed the way I looked at the world, so did Terri's ordeal. I just don't feel the same way about things as I used to. It's not depression or anything of that sort. I just don't feel the same. Is anyone else experiencing this or something similar?

I don't think Jeb chickened out. I don't think his heart was ever in it. I was thinking about this the other day. Anyone who is morally outraged about a situation and is in the position Jeb is in would DO WHAT HE KNEW HIS CONSCIENCE TOLD HIM WAS RIGHT. Not only did Jeb not do that, he has been making excuses...the best saying it will all die down and we'll forget eventually.

He didn't chicken out. He didn't much care, actually...at least not enough to make a difference.

the Bushes did not know any other way, what a scary thought for our country that such leaders are ignorant of the separation of powers.

I have yet to hear ONE complaint or finger pointed at the Congress who, after sending the subpoenas - (and Bush was behind the emergency rush) - and had noses thumbed at them - THEY DID NOT follow thru and have these people arrested! Even NOW.

That was the whole idea of going thru' the Senate and Congress. If greer and Felos , for two, had been arrested - the whole scenario could have shifted - it was THEIR job.

And I h ave yet to see anyone mention that, after the Senate voted unanimously for Terri, and the Republicans had a bill that would've saved her - the dems threatened to filibuster unless the pubs accepted a watered down version - that left the loophole for the judges to jump thru - The pubs had to agree or the bill would be defeated or filibustered and Terri, meanwhile, was dying.

Oh no, I forgot - Terri died because of the Bushes - NO ONE ELSE> forgive me...

As for people here bashing Bush? We have loved the Bush brothers deeply. But to turn a blind eye to someone's wrong, even if you love them, is just stupid.
