"BRUSSELS: The European Union plans to slap an extra 15 percent import duty on a range of US goods..."

Excellent! Bring on the trade war!

10% German unemployment? 11% German unemployment? 12% German unemployment?

You ain't seen nothing yet, just wait until they find that the largest buyer of their exports just closed our doors to them.

In short, bring it on!

Any professional economist will tell you that if the EU puts a 15% tariff on US goods, it has the same exact effect as if the US put a 15% tariff on EU goods.

I'm not sure you knew that economics backs you up, but it does!

Yes. We have the highest record breaking trade deficit in our history, and every month it gets worse. WE will benefit from tariffs, not the rest of the world who has a surplus with US. I agree, bring it on. 20,000 dollars more on every BMW.

Screw the EU! We don't need to import Brussels Sprouts! We can grow our own, right here in the US! And we can call them Freedom Sprouts!
