Fallujah post-mortem
Some Marine units moved through Fallujah in November with Arabic translators. The infantrymen wanted to be able to eavesdrop on the terrorists' radio net.
A Marine told us that, roughly translated, one terrorist was heard to say: "We are fighting. But the Marines keep coming. We are shooting, but the Marines won't stop."
The Marines, backed by Army tanks, captured Fallujah in 11 days and with it the last large base for Abu Musab Zarqawi.

Marines are "ground grinders". If you are on the ground that the Marines are grinding, you will be grinded too. Grind Marines, grind.
You owe me a new keyboard!!!
May the sight of a Marine landing party and the unfurling of the Stars and Bars and the Marine Corp Red loosen the bowels of anyone who faces it as an adversary for the next 1000 years.
Peace through strength.
I remember those arguments in my old armored division. The tankers are elite because they kick butt. But then there's the huge supply line necessary to keep the tanks from becoming the world's biggest doorstops, and the C3 to make the tanks effective, the infantry to go where the tanks can't, etc.
Rivalry and jokes are always fun, especially when you're picking on Marines :^), as long as you remember we're all part of a larger team.

"I triple guarantee you, there are no American soldiers in Baghdad."
Last time the US fought England it lost. Check out the time America invaded Canada.
UH RAH
What a deal the jihadist want to die for there pagan moon god and the Marines and Army want to kill them.
But, didn't Ben Laden say Americans are lazy, weak, and lack determination?
Weak horse, meet strong horse.
It was more like a draw. We did kick their *ss at New Orleans at the end of the war (actually after the peace treaty).
WHO's NEXT?
SEMPER FI!!!!
Does my memory fail me or is that Baghdad Bob?
Marines, what Marines, I don't see any Marines.
As the mother of a former Marine I say, we can never thank all of you enough for your sacrifice--and your families as well.
Thank you for keeping all of us safe, to borrow a quote from those closest to my heart--you know who you are!
Actually I'm proud of my service, but the Marine title means so much to me as an American Patriot. God Bless all who serve.
If you're reading this, thank the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard!
I know. I am proud of all who serve! Thank you for your service. Glad you dodged the SAMs.
